Frothing rather than dribbling partridge. I hear they're going ti rename sevenoaks as 0.125 oaks as a tribute to sound. Bloody marbleous. Quick where's the valium.
I think that spider bite is definitely taking its effect on him. He has plenty of servants to take care of him anyway, so I'm sure he'll be just fine convalescing on his balcony overlooking the Sussex Downs. Maybe it was a French spider that bit him?!
Ok JTF I think as humans we try to cling onto any sign/message of Hope straws and clutching spring to mind crude knows exactly what he is doing
Yes, I think you're onto something there Mr JTF. The dribblings of someone on painkillers who is off to the cinema is the first place I would look for a clue to the future of Sound.
Tapper - Yes, I know French is spoken in Morocco. I have been there and I do speak French. My point is that Crudehope's spelling of 'Sound Energy' was 'Sound Energie', which is rather strange seeing as though he is probably SOU's most loyal PI / investor. Crude has yet to come back on here and explain himself. I just thought it was a little odd.
JTF don’t want to have to p*ss on your fish shop chips but French is a second language in Morocco
Parsons needs to stay until the end as he on countless occasions has said he would, whatever the end looks like. I don't think he should slip away via the fire exit leaving us PI's to suffer the consequences of a "no deal Souxit."
His job now is to bring this all to a successful conclusion. Only then will his reputation be somewhat intact, but wherever he moves on to next, he must understand that people will no longer believe his hype and will only make judgements based on hard facts and e.g. actual drill results and not what could be, would have been, may be. I suppose that will somewhat cramp his presenting style, but that is the trade-off for gambling on there being loads of discovered gas here at SOU. His plan sort of backfired and I think he really thought we'd find commercial gas, but he should have never told us how many, many multiples of the share price we could potentially enjoy and how many TCF's they'd deliver to us etc. BM is still standing in some fantasy room, standing in front of us with "at least 6 TCF under his belt." It's rather pathetic and lame IMHO. As I have said already, the weight is now firmly on Parsons' shoulders and his legacy depends on what is presented come the LE.
I'm still perplexed by Crudehope's spelling of Sound Energy yesterday. 'Sound Energie' is a French spelling. I am wondering if he was trying to be subtle by purposely misspelling 'Energy'. If it is a French company who may have made a bid for us, could it be TOTAL? Hmm....the mind boggles.

Crude no hope and James the parsnip parsons
Soundmen or wastemen?
Interesting discussion....where should jp go to build back his reputation?
Maybe he should quit whilst he is still potentially ahead?
Probably easier for him to build his infamous deal maker reputation at echo and coro- afterall, he came into sound and 4p and saved the company single handedly right crud? So he could theoretically build greater value in the other 2 than here at sound.
Used to liaise with the failure quite a lot if I had any questions etc...but it has transpired most of what he spouted was garbage and ain't nobody got time for that! He is a wasteman
Sorry to hear you've lost your marbles indeep. Join the club.
Haha I feel you mock me but with 200 large and more tied up in this I think i'm losing my marbles. still I think there are dark forces working in the background and all is not what it seems, you only have to look at where we are now to figure that one out. maybe they drilled the duster...then drilled and got a bit and now not drilling the 3rd.... the money shot is there, I know it, just waiting for a major to come in offer a quid and exploit it ;) you heard it here first haha
I still can't get the image of Trellis drowning in a wine vat out of my mind. I imagine him taking his last few gulps before meeting his conclusion. Talk about 'Liquidity Event'. More like 'Liquid Event'. I suspect Trellis would be very happy spending the last few seconds splashing around in a wine vat with Wannabe 5 looking on with a wry grin on her face.
I think we've heard every possible scenario on this bb for what may happen come the LE, but the one from Indeep has to be the funniest. I can just see JP saying to Brian, "Hey Brian....don't you dare choose the sweet spot. I don't want a company like Shell to pay too much for us. It just wouldn't be ethical. Could you do me a favour and magic-up one of your infamous dusters for us instead? There's a good chap..."
Indeep - you have said nothing on here for 2 years and you have come onto the bb with that idea. It's absolutely hilarious, mate. Well done. Pure comedy. I doff my fez at you. It's the funniest thing I have heard since the discussions on here about the whereabouts of Luca's baby. Priceless.
JTF
Thanks Indeep. That actually had me laughing at dinner. Duster by design to avoid suitors having to pay £10 , brilliant stuff..::
Haha glad you think so. I’m loving your theories though..... sorry what are those again?
I still have faith in getting something out of this... even my money back. Would love to see a profit though as would everyone. It’s not over till it’s over.... fingers crossed for all in chin deep
Thanks for the reply. I just can’t help but think there’s something more to this than meets the. Personally i’d give my right arm to see mid 40s but not going anywhere till this is over... even if we end up in the penny bucket. Can’t get out and stomach huge losses only to see it sold for more than most expect. Fingers crossed sounders....
Indeep, are you sure you are not in too 'Deep'....
"On the edge
A windowsill
Ponders his maker
Ponders his will
To the street below
He just ain't nothin'
But he's got a great view
And he sinks the needle deep
Can't touch the bottom
In too deep
Can't touch the bottom oh........
That's in too deep & rock bottom...we are far from there at the moment, praise be!

Crude...dont be like the characters in the song....'He just ain't nothin' ..............................
If what you are saying is that we didn't find gas to keep our sale price sexy for prospective buyers then I'd say "no".
However, a successful LE should IMHO still see at least £1 per share. Soundingoff has even "done the math" if you want to see back-of-fag packet calculations. Just for the record, I'd still be making a handsome profit at 40p, but can't see a low ball offer like that presented to us. I think we're worth far more than 40p per share. I know there are loads of people out there who think we're worth less than 40p and some that think we're worth way more than £1. None of us at this stage are right and nor are we wrong. We'll have to wait to see if a bid comes along and for how much.
Posting this again.....Been watching this board for a couple of years and finally decided to join the discussion. I got involved at the 40p mark and watched it rise to 60p only to see it painfully fall to where we are now.
I've been thinking for some time now that maybe, just maybe we would of been too successful for our own good and been to expensive for anyone to buy if we'd of hit 3 jackpots and an estimation of 1000p, or at least not as attractive.
So here's one for the conspirators.... did we prove where the gas wasn't to keep it low and within a prospective buyers reach without being ridiculously expensive. This same question could be asked even if we did it by chance... have we proved where the gas isn't and can now prove where it is... or narrowed it down for the buyer. (To risky for us to go again...or its not part of the plan)
I think we have some life left in this share and i think it will go for mid 40p on wards but keeping a lid on it going ridiculous
Just a thought from someone in chin deep
