Problem with GDR is the need of a lab/hospital to analyse the tests. The public need a test that they can do themselves in a few minutes. Avacta have a saliva based test going through final clinical trials now so has the potential to be the big game changer in testing we need.
Out of my shares I hold I view SNG as my pick for the leading potential therapy and AVCT for the potential tests that can win the battle v covid.
Good post zwartkops.
Bounce
thanks Zwart.... much appreciate the pointers.
Because 3m is huge and the majority of the business is industrial tapes / adhesives etc so with the collapse of so many businesses around the world that use their product they took a huge knock. Also they just lost out on a euro250m NATO contract to AVON rubber (not been announced yet)
Mr Big et al... i dont get something... what am i missing... 3M clearly making the best mask for the entire global healthcare community - they must be making zillions of them. Tons of publicity. Why is their share price down compared to when pandemic started? Dont get it. Stop 99% of virus so we'd all have them i guess if we could so??? looks pretty solid to me?
Sng has been great. Been in since 64p, down to 36p. but out half for 170p-220p ish. Still keep rest going, Great drug to help the world in pandemic! more news to come regarding to ce mark, fda and copd.
Check VRP share today. Great news too! FDA news and COPD trial stage III, good value including the $200M capital raise weeks ago....
Good luck all,
DYOR
Interesting comment Mr Big.. thanks... i trade oil like all the time for fun really, son had kidney transplant so been indoors for months going stir crazy...got bored....
SNG has been amazing, anymore possibles out there? ODX?
Any experienced investors with any investment tips?
Spark - I am going the other way. Covid sector is so oversaturated that SNG is the only holding I have left. There are other non-related pharmas that have gone completely under the radar so far but might get a cash inflow from covid stock punters in the nearest future, as soon as the spotlight shines on them. The whole pharma sector will keep rising, but I'm hoping to avoid the hardest fluctuations.
There is also Oil to think about.
its kind of interesting... 2 weeks ago, i set up a watchlist of 66 (LOL) companies who were applying to do things with Covid or in the fringes eg suppliers around it. That list has now kind of split into two of its own accord - those on a tear due to actually having some data / contract / news versus the others. So there are a handful on a tear upwards as they actually have something and the ii's dont want to miss the boat but probably dont want all eggs in one basket so are probably creating (like Woodford did) a portfolio of a few of them in case a couple go tits up. So whilst we watch this run upwards, would be interested in view of adding Genedrive alongside it - 9 day just flipped upwards over 26 day and is into testing kits for India - and before you get inf beta i presume you have to test someone....? Any views?
I'm certain the main stakeholders in synairgen would not personally leak but it must be more or less impossible now to keep everything under wraps. If you work in and around the company you're going to be aware of a hell of a lot happening right now...
Thing is, SNG team may be tight lipped, no leaks.
If there is a deal on the table you suddenly have 2 parties and all the associated legal, financial, etc. people supporting too.
Big pool of people to try to keep quiet.
I'm not a big believer in leaks, but remember that Friday surge before Manic Monday?..
Number of transactions reported has risen sharply in first half hour compared to recent days.
Have a good weekend all. See you guys first thing Monday morning.
