mr or mrs alarik i tell you before my wife helps English somtimes when she here. you now like you said your wife has an account named after a python snake and posts for you sometimes. you admit you have at least two accounts in your house. my wife dosnt post for me like you said your wife does but just helps me out.
afake or afact.
heh Marty, think you may need to tell your twin kid ( you know the ever so slightly strange 'Nigerian' one) to watch his language. not for the first time when rushed, he drops his fake pidgin English and reverts to English. a bit of a giveaway if you know what i mean?
ah there you are again Stephen, it's been a while. you come in to join Marty and his rather strange 'Nigerian' twin brother on this discussion supposedly about the management's response to the current global crisis, have you?
how's your new house coming on btw? you remember - the one you sold your holding in San Leon for in October last year to help buy. Heh anyway 'Peace and Love Yall' as Stephen 54321 would say.
you're a dingleberry..... Oh, and you have to have a thought before you have an idea before you have an opinion before you have a view. Posters like martay and Jabba get insulted (I prefer 'realigned'), by me anyway, not because they have views counter to my own, but because they don't make the effort to try and get to something as substantial as a 'view' in the first place. Rather, led by that hateful toe jam on the other board, they too often simply work backwards from a personal animus derived primarily from seeing the share price fall. This baying mob then projects its ignorance and anger onto this board. Too often they dissemble, focus on the trivial (e.g., management's historic compensation) at the expense of the critical (eg., net cash on hand as a proportion of the company's market cap), and yes, outright lie (where do I start?) primarily in the service of venting their spleens. Martay, for all of his hurt feelings and really, really angry CAPITAL LETTER emphasis, STARTED THIS ONE. I, for one, didn't post recently because, you know,, there was like a crash going on where EVERYTHING, particularly small cap oil and gas shares, WERE. GETTING. KILLED. Any idiot (sorry, indirect insult coming) could see the selling was margin call-led and ABSOLUTELY INDISCRIMINATE. It should have been equally obvious to anyone who doesn't breathe through his arse, that within this absolute carnage, sle was emerging as something of a (pyrrhic victory to be sure) of an outperformer as it has begun a fitful recovery from its lows while 90% of its peers remained (and remain) stuck at or near their severe lows. I've written several times (always in response to yet another empty-headed rant about the share price) late last year that, like it or not, that sle, particularly with the 60% effective tender at 46p, but even without it, was among the very best small cap oil shares on AIM last year. It was a disappointing absolute performance, but it was realised within a sector that was plainly crushed. Again, like it or not, the situation year-to-date has been objectively precisely the same. However, did I or anyone else for that matter, come on this board to point that out during a period where Martay apparently interpreted my silence as some kind of benign neglect as the share price fell? Um no, because THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN IDIOTIC AS THE MARKET AND ALL COMMODITY SHARES IN PARTICULAR WERE IN FREEFALL WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR FUNDAMENTALS. You might even have said any effort of the sort in those circumstances was the mark of someone attempting to (gulp) ramp the share price.
It is true, i have noticed that he and other posters do attack people with childish name calling etc, when they have different views that do not aline with there own..... its made this bb an terrible place to be. Hence why its the same 3-10 people week in week out on here.
mr or mrs alarik bluethrill muckspreadr special posutive troll team he all called me racist in past to try and win his always rong argument like skool boy bullies so I wunder they doing rong in eyes of law like he say about mr marty. but English is not his best tongue even I had to explain what racist was when he all call me name so i post link to meaning so he can understand better. he still a bit stupid on this one though.
one thing proved though posutive troll team all certun is hypocrits as he all do what he tell others not to do. he all do anything to cover up for the red lion always failing. he all very very worried about sumthing. very funny to watch ,his foolish investmunt game. God bless
afake or a fact
woah there.. did one just fly over?
whatever, the not so subtle point that got missed (deliberately and disingenuously) is that racism is a criminal offence in the UK and falsely accusing someone of it with absolutely no substantiation in writing is libel. period.
Matey,
My flakey response means I could not be ar*ed going through 2 years + of your continual insults at each and every poster who has expressed a position different to yourself, including our Nigerian friend (oh wait - he's NOT Nigerian, therefore it's OK to insult him..... Truly going round in circles now). Given your other attributes, I find it amusing that you express such utter outrage at being called racist - hit a raw nerve? But you accepting that you are insulting hectoring bullying and arrogant is a good start. Keep it up - you and your blustering friend might one day reach a point where one or both of you you can write a post without malice. But I doubt it, 'Jerk'. Very sad - a lot of pent-up hatred in your posts. You make this board toxic. And some boards on SLE are so inclusive, easy-going and informative.
('Court' - WTF are you talking about? And is OF the judge? Watching too much TV in these Covid times?)
McClean, yes of course if it wasn't for covid-19 and the oil price crisis SLE would be priced at GBP 1+ (and that is sarcasm, in case you fail to notice, like some other yo-yos who post on this board have done in the past). The pre-covid/oil crisis price trend has shown down, down, down. Those latest events merely continue the prior trend. Get real. Or even better Get smart (and yes, I know that you don't get that reference either).
... 'Ask our Nigerian friend. Let's move on to.. '
err, i was actually asking you matey, since you made the racism allegation, not your 'Nigerian friend' ( who he btw? you cannot mean Afake!? what in heaven's name makes you think he's Nigerian? OMG you're even dumber than i had possibly imagined).
anyway i will take your flakey response to mean your racism allegation is dropped now. and don't bother belatedly apologising for your badly misjudged slur, as i very much doubt it would be sincere. ( and take a free tip from an old pro - don't ever back out of a position you have taken with 'Let's move on' now to the next position. Why? because you get laughed out of court. jerk)
M91,
What point are you making - how utterly wrong you guys have been about the investment cast for SLE? Pointing out my current paper losses is totally nonconstructive - NO ONE here cares about my portfolio. I might remind you that you guys have been saying that this share is worth well in excess of GBP 1 for years. If you were even close to the mark, keeping some on at 46p was obvious. Turns out you were clueless about the share's valuation, and that perhaps I should have sold all at 46p.
But NO ONE CARES.
Ask our Nigerian friend. Let's move on to 'insulting hectoring .... bullying arrogance'. Might need more than a postcard for those.
You guys lost the plot a long time ago. The purpose of these boards is to give opinions on companies and management (good or bad). You guys just give endless bitter bile. Sad.
racist... xenophobic? how so? answers on a pc will do. dumbassaphobic, however, i will put my hand up to.
What is it with you guys that every time someone posts a different opinion or viewpoint to yourselves, you must respond with an insulting hectoring racist bullying arrogance that heeds no dissent. You live in a xenophobic, non- inclusive world where the only voices you hear are your own. And worst of all, you have been factually wrong for years - you do realise the current price is 17p????? So much for your endless ramping on the investment powerhouse that is SLE. Such a vast inferiority complex that you cannot accept any view other than your own.
sadly not bluerill but, even if there were, he wouldn't make the grade (basic level of professional competence still required). so maybe we just have to turn down the volume control to the point where the background noise can be masked. i wonder what the equivalent of white noise is for bulletin boards because that's what we need for jumped up little ****es like pop-up.
Is there a development league for financial message boards??
I'm not arrogant, I just don't fancy validating some angry bird's masticated mutterings through my silence, especially when much of the chum is directed at me.... Now then, back to the main topic: why you are such a clueless muppet. First, your response to my 'national emergency' reference was truly appalling, so congratulations(?), you have somehow managed to skip 3 Trumps on the sub-human scale and join whatever form of primordial ooze that posts on ADVFN under 'chartrader' and other nicknames. Way to go.....As for your latest rant about how my dismissing your 'idea' that putting out some poxy RNS blah-blah in the middle of a equity and oil market uber-meltdown (worked great for a slew of familiar small cap oilies that, as a result, managed to hold their falls to 70%+!), is in fact some kind of indication of 'how little I have invested in the company.....' , Well, that is so magnificently Trumpian in its logic, I have half a mind to declare you Top Trump. Jabba will be so jealous......Meanwhile, for those capable of reading a financial report and not screaming into the void while doing so: Not only do we have virtually the ONLY oil name in the entire market - not just among small caps - with the balance sheet strength and low operating costs to genuinely take advantage of this lower-prices-for-longer/cash-starved oil economy, but also has improved infrastructure that is about to come on-line, to significantly leverage those strengths. That is largely why our share price is snapping back quicker than most I believe When the time is right, the company will update on all of this and more, I'm sure. In the meantime, you can rest assured, that the company's CEO - for whom I have actually been quite miserly in my praise historically - with his AIM-high 9.5m shares - some 6m purchased with his own funds over time (surely among the top decile of AIM small-cap resource CEOs) is plenty motivated to pursue real actions to realise the massive value embedded in a share price which is still over 75% cash, both from within and without the company. And he will doubtless do so without resorting to putting out some facile RNS comprised of some version of 'Hey, don't worry everyone, we're still alive. See you in 6 months!' and instead containing consequential corporate actions and/or deals that create real value. At least that's the view from this continent, you empty barrel.
jeez marty you're like a whining brat and you don't half write some bilge. suggest you stfu to avoid further humbling admonishments from the pen of bluerill. necessary corrections to your stuff: 1.oil appears now to be on a recovery path, so not 'collapsed' ( ditto our SP up over 50% in a week) 2. OML18 is incredibly cheap to produce and Bonny Light typically trades at a premium to both WTI and Brent 3. so remains profitable at these levels and anyway Eroton will have to maintain sufficient hedging to protect its RBL account 4. we have 10s of millions of $ in the bank which makes us virtually unique in AIM oilies 5. so no liquidity or solvency issues during these exigent times 6. OML18 's rising production will shortly be exported securely through the new ACOES, thereby eliminating pipeline losses.
While serious investors await an update on the ACOES, it would help if there was a reduction in unnecessary background noise on this board to allow informed discussion to take place without irrelevant interruption.
"You are on the wrong continent - there is no national emergency where I live."
Hope your on Antarctica. It doesn't look like any other continent will escape from this.
You are on the wrong continent - there is no national emergency where I live. Perhaps you re just commenting on the British people in general and their current obsession with toilet paper. Churchill would choke on his cigar. And the issue here for investors is the absolute lack of communication (as usual) by management in the face of a collapsed oil price. If management does not consider such events, and an associated price collapse, worthy of attention, what is it being paid for? And your apparent lack of interest in the matter shows how little you have invested in the company, so why do you bother commenting?
Sigh, stop being so arrogant.
Sigh. You know a national emergency is never going to make the stupid clever, but is it too much to ask that it might make the clueless just a tiny bit less generous with their 'thoughts'?
Well, I am certainly encouraged by management response to the current crisis and its detailed communication to shareholfers on the way forward. Good to see management earning its considerable remuneration for a change.
And a deafening silence from certain rampers who have been remorselessly pumping this share for years. The next post will, of course, be to say that they had actually sold out at 36p months ago. Some things never change on AIM.
