Licence to print money!!
First target £1 for me soon
Then £1.2 early next year
Then higher
Share will be ramping from now till March next year in line with vaccine roll out and get moving again.
It's very cheap for what it is currently. I've moved my sell out price up and going to forget for a few months a make money while I sleep xxx
It's actually crazy to see how well Starbucks has done the past few years. There is money in them there beans!
Can see an aggressive play by MM and investors this month to lock in share at cheap price and sit on them.
Fact is company is key to running of the country, and with a vaccine being rolled out they are in a very strong position for stock bounce back.
Just recently topped up my holding here (shuffled from CINE) as I agree that this can break £1 sometime into early New Year. I'm hoping so rather than predicting. I am very pleased with the way SGC is performing of late and cannot see many reasons as to why it should not continue more up than down days, especially with current and impending vaccine news. Good Luck all :)
Bargain price here .
Positioned well for a recovery.
Low risk high gains
£2 stock in vaccination and divi resumption. Now is the time to buy for big yield
Stagecoach is completely tied to getting the country move again.
The government are also about to get F-ed by Brexit so will be doing everything in their power to get the economy moving to avoid collapse.
Stagecoach is effectively an infrastructure company and in a safer position than consumer spending products/services.
Can easily move to £1 then settle
I think public transport will be the big winners in Boris Johnson's plans for a green revolution. Especially as most people can't afford an electric car and the infrastructure - charging points etc just isn't there yet, nor will it be in anything like the timescales Boris Johnson wants to see. Green buses will be big thing and financially strong companies like Stagecoach and National Express are well positioned to really capitalise. The vaccines have already arrived in the UK on a fleet of HGVs and will soon begin being distributed - it's all upside imo from hereon, the recovery has begun. SGC will hit £1 within the next few weeks imo and probably settle in the £1.20 to £1.50 range in the new year.
well that was a day of up, slightly down then up again
hopefully price consolidation and shaking off the low holders
happy weekend all XXX
this is the big story, watch the massive government grants roll in:
Green public transport (electric or hydrogen buses) reduces harmful emissions.
More and More People on the buses - long term growth - long term hold - why?
New petrol and diesel car sales banned from 2030.
Older petrol and diesel cars likely to be banned too - not long after 2030.
Electric cars very expensive for most motorists.
Cost per mile charges for motorists to be introduced.
Significant number of motorists will find motoring beyond their means.
The old banger option for poorer motorists will no longer be an option.
Huge churn from driving private cars onto public transport particularly buses.
Green public transport (electric or hydrogen buses) reduces harmful emissions.
Bus passenger numbers to rise significantly over the next two decades.
there is great buying pressure and would be the balanced price it got to on a few occasions between March and now.
Combined with now having vaccines being rolled out, and the gov desperate to get the country moving again.
Hood stick
=
Good stock
(Sorry predictive text!!!)
Anyone found any news triggering the surge upwards this morning (esp at 10am)?
I know it’s a hood stick (holding on for much bigger gains) but wondering if some news was announced as it’s up much more than the peers I follow?
This is making a great recovery, can we see 80p ?
couple of big sells this afternoon yet it continued to rise! Must be something going to come out soon!
GLA
Been @ 60p since the vaccine news rise three weeks ago, hopefully that's the resistance there broken now! Onward and upward, GLA!!
I'm quite optimistic about SGC to, 90p before 2021 is very realistic, bottom last days is very tough here, so jump in area 70-75p possible any day.
Nearly 12% a week for 2 weeks;cannot be unhappy
I've got a target of £2 a share here .
Looking at the financials once covid normalised I can see it there quickly. 90 p target year end .
I expect this to break 90p before Christmas, now we know everything is going to be sorted by Easter. I cashed in on the first round vaccine, but bought back in a week ago for along term hold.
@SuperJ. No woeries mate.
I'm Stockport, Stagecoach operate each bus at roughly 40% capacity. I'm not sure how the driver works that out, but once that is reached, a "Bus full" notice goes up on the destination board. And you have to wait for the next one. Not much fun if you happen to be on a route with only 1 an hour though.
thanks Trent, suppose passenger numbers are a bit all over the place with various stages of lockdowns kicking in but any idea what sort of % there was when schools returned and things were getting back to normal?
