Just glanced through some of your comments and do understand where most of you come from. We do agree with your comments about the board of directors, as well as Seed big valuations of the past, we too are disappointed, but we must march on after our early anticipated sale of Leap did not materialised. We bought in as a long term investor and feel that once all the damning comments have settled new investors will see the value offered by Seed. It is no good going on and on about what has passed, decide if you want to invest or not, then make comments on NEW information.
You never know Leap may eventually go for double of its present value. Initially we would sell 50 % of Leap and see how it trades once floated before selling the rest in small amounts.
Take care all and do not be rude to each other, it gets you nowhere.
We are not picking any comments up that have been posted today, the last one we have is at 19.05 Mon, so posting this to see if it appears on our screen.
Have had a look at the interims and most appear to have made some headway. Without Leap the portfolio is worth around 7p. give or take with a quick calculation in our heads.
The SP problem is that most bought in just to make a quick buck on Leap and the delay was not what they wanted so have sold up their holding. This is or appears to be a safe long term play in the cannabis and wellness sector and any money from Leap should see Seed make further investments in the sector.
Again, as we imagine most of you have done, noted that a number of sales were in fact buys and the unknown trades were buys.
So seed, we feel, is worth holding on to and looks well worth any investment people make at today's price, which should show them at least a 50% gain in the long term.
Just tried the posts on another computer and todays posts have appeared on it, so something to look at.
Forthewin - Yep, I know how you feel too. My average is around 9.5! I hope I get my money back. In reality, I am pretty sure I'm going to get my money back. So yes, others will profit from the low price. I wished I had held back so I could have done. But what can I say? That's the stock market for you? It isn't about rewarding loyal LTHs. It's about timing. Anyway, I'm guessing that thin volumes have pushed the price down and thin volumes will push it back up. So not many will profit from an upward surge. Also, we had an RNS announcing when Lorne's mum slipped below 3% so Longlad is also right - it MAY be someone else selling, but I bet the bulk is Lorne's mum. That's what the RNS suggests. 3% more to sell. The whole sector hasn't done well recently. I remember looking and looking at Amazon when it was stuck at 100USD thinking what was wrong? Why weren't people buying? And I steered clear. Woe befall me. Patience. The sector is generally at an infant stage now, but wait ten years, and you'll have a really crazy return. This is a sector specific fund now. It's about investing in the sector. It isn't about investing in a company that is making cuttting edge tech anymore. Did you catch the news in Germany last week? Lorne's mum is going to kick herself in a couple of years. In the meantime, I'm waiting for my other investments to give enough of a return so I can buy more here.

Don’t know why we bother with aim, look at the Dow and ftse today.
Risk, without reward
I know exactly how you feel forthewin.
I guess warren buffets saying of "it's time in the market that matters not timing the markets"doeant apply to ffwd/seed!
It's been a raw deal for us LTH but I guess we do need the new investors, as painful as it is sometimes.
What if it isn’t Lorne’s mom who has been selling lately, and the 20% ed the talking horse was referring to was not be be from existing shares? After all alfresco and ed deserve Christmas bonuses….they have after all moved the share price!
is an estate agent. She doesn't really care about the company. Lorne is out of it, so why not cash in? They're not going to hold for a variety of reasons, none of which relates to the value of the company. All of which to do with wanting to buy other stuff. That's what people do, irrational or not. Sometimes you just don't want to invest. The drop will continue until she's sold it all, and then we get a period of at least a couple of weeks of silence. Then there'll be an IPO, and then we'll LEAP. It's all part of the plan. Who cares if it goes below 5p? Better buying opportunity, right? We're sitting on what is becoming a mountain of value here.
