Just took a position here you will see my £8K pop up shortly. Seems grossly undervalued

Bearing in mind kafr sheikh target is only 5200ft in hanut, so slightly less than other places they drilled.
I’d argue they’d be there or there abouts. I work in oil production rather than drilling, but my last platform they could drill very quickly the first few stages of the well design and get quite deep. When they get closer to the potential pay zone the rate will drop right off.
Lets be patient.
Edit
Sdx must have drilled 3000ft of hanut by now, so cant be long to reach TD.
Luckcounts
The sp is already depressed, already undervalued even if hanut is a not commercial downside is limited, upside is huge.
Sdx have drilled 300ft by now.
Surprised they havent released ibn yunus 2 well test results yet.
I'm hearing there are problems at Pello Capital (similar to Beaufort/SVS). Selling from some holders there? Thinking out loud.
Success at Hanut could be the catalyst the share price needs. Although if it's a failure this stock is again likely to be dead money for years.

Sdx uses its cashflow for drilling and we know there is no risk of placings.
Hopefully sentiment will return here.
Agree Maestro. Look at ADV & CHAR - not drilling for a little while but having a great run. I reckon we get success/duster within 2 weeks. IY2 was 8,000ft and took 2 weeks to report, Hanut is 5,000-6,000ft. Not long before we know.
If it is successful, I really hope we some strong, aggressive PR.
I must say the PR is really poor for this company.
You only have to look at some exploration companies who have higher mkt cap than sdx and have no production.
How the hell can sdx be trading to a massive discount to NPV.
Not to mention they also have close to $10m in bank. Revenue of $51m, CF of $33m and EV of $33m its insane...
Board need to go if they cant produce shareholder value.
Shakey...the issue is, imo, the business lacks a long terms strategic focus. It's not really sure what it wants to be. The problem with being led by a pair of conservative accountants. Yup, of course on the other side we could be led by the inverse, a bunch of cowboys with great vision and no ability to count beans.
One thing Boxy is good at, and that's counting beans and therefore making sure his salary is paid. Wouldn't it be great if they came out with a grandiose vision we could all get behind. Fund managers love that stuff to justify their positions.
I intend to top up [aka put the final nail in this coffin] on further weakness.
Shakey
They say the structure is very similar to the ibn yunus and sobhi find. Remember they are only drilling to 5000ft, they can reach td in couple of weeks, so we can know very soon if the well finds gas. So it wont be a months wait.
Question is how similar is this to the salah well, that was suppose to have 70bcf but was found not to have commercial quantities.
You feel forced to ask yourself, if Hanut does indeed come in on prognosis and flows well, will the market even be interested? I know I would be. It's still quite a while between start of drilling and expected results so we could actually see some buying coming along shortly.
Mkt cap $42m
EV $33m
EV of c£24m only on a company which generates over $33m cash flow per annum.
If hanut comes in the reward is juicy, if it doesnt the downside is limited.
This stock is cheap..
