mark, that would be nice, but it is on a Friday, but hey anytime from now will be fine.
Two nice trades at the end, a 100k BUY at 23.0245, and just from memory there was a 52k UT at 22.80 too. BTW, thanks (OT)
Hi C7 A Kracken Rns on your brithday. Now would'nt that be nice.
Hi buddy, not till the 23rd, just can"t wait to go out really. Should be a great game between us very soon. Take care ATVB
Happy Birthday C7, hope you are having a great day m8.
Happy birthday C7... present was to go above us Irons for a short while over the weekend I guess (;-))
Ideal for a dose escalation study I would have thought :-)
RR - actually contemplating exactly the same, is that an omen?
I've just "initiated" a P1 trial to assess the benefits of a daily dose of Argentinian Malbec in protecting against Covid19. Early results are promising.
Now where's my 2 million quid?
Hi Max
The relevant RNS is a bit ambiguous
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/SCLP/funds-awarded-by-innovate-uk-for-covid-19-vaccine-1wibac8ii81x7dn.html
"The funding will be used to initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial ("COVIDITY") during 2021."
Does this mean to get as far as being ready to start a P1 trial or actually complete a P1 trial?
I don't believe that a P1 trial would cost that much in these circumstances since it would take place using healthy individuals.
I would imagine, apart from the obvious safety aspect, Lindy would be keen to measure populations of antibodies and, of course, T Cells.
But, as crumbs asks, would CEPI necessarily wait until a P1 is completed before making a decision on Covidity?
Crumbs, where we not funded by the GOV with Money to achieve a PH1 for Covidity ?
Good memory, all presents duly accepted, but could be an RNS, lol. Yeah, keep punching!!
Thanks C7
I remember its your BIrthday. Sure been a tough year. Have a lively time and keep punching!
Morning GoldGirl,
Good to see you posting here, yeah much better thanks for now, I think for all of us this has been a very hard year, going out tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday next week, first time been out for just over a year socially, hope you are well, good luck here and heres to a better future x
Hi C7
Hope you are keeping well these days!
Take care
I think that is why Gillies O'Bryan-Tear was brought in... in fact, there are some seemingly more potentially commercially capable members on the scancell BOD now (Ursula and Susan) than just a couple of years ago so here is hoping. .. if we can't tie up anything around Covidity we are really really struggling as the interest has to be huge... I get it may take a ph1 but hmm... again added funds from say a CEPI if not a pharma would be fully utilised.... certainly Covidity is not proving to be a vaccine in 100 days so far lol...
Well seems like we absolutely agree to agree, it just makes sense. Always better to have a smaller percentage of something than all of nothing.
As my carpet guys arrive!!! Have a good day buddy, enjoy your holiday.
Crumbs ....
We have no such deals on anything !.... about time someone managed to get em!....
SCLP have amazing science, in my opinion it's now the managements time to step up to the plate...do they have it in them ? Guided by Redmile ? Time will tell... but we are at the crossroads now. Personally I will follow the 2 year time frame some have outlined by Redmile. Let's face it if we have no trials by 2023 then it's time to reapraise. Like all I am eagerly awaiting any RNS on both covidity and or the cancer platform.
My thoughts on ITU bed availability....large teaching hospitals have trial centers on site and ITU beds are always found for "in house" emergencies. Covid19 research in many hospitals have the green light to proceed and are given priority. I don't think a lack of ITU beds are preventing Covid19 trials at the present time.
Fingers crossed that we hear news this week.
Always been my favoured way to get a pharma involved ASAP... of course not if it means an IP giveaway which seemed to be the story with the MaB deferred deal... infact I suppose on those there are those collab deals.. but I don't know why not on ImmunoBody and indeed moditope too... hmm ok TCR with BioNTech could be classed as that lol ... but you get what I mean pharma have products that they are struggling to get results on yet spending a fortune when what they probably need is to find the right target and right combo... ImmunoBody seems perfect there...
As with Covidity again yes might be funded for ph1 but the clout of more funding and a partner who can shift things is needed ASAP... for instance the delivery by spray could then be rapidly advanced or even work on a pill if possible.. there is always work to be done that needs funds...
Absolutely, there are just two resources we need right now, human and financial, but whilst in both areas we have grown so dramatically, it is time to draw on outside resources IMHO. Easy to say COVIDITY for example will be worth more after Phase 1, but lets get in a Big Pharma with the expertise of recruitment all the way through to commercialisation.
The thing with the pipeline and something scancell always tell us at presentations is they are always looking for partners whos techs can be improved by scancells .... well that Ipatasertib for example is owned by Roche and is not performing well at all for them in most trials they are putting it into and spending a fortune on... well this glioblastoma trial is tiny 10 patients but shows promise again a very very difficult cancer... well surely anyways in such situs you make contact if you think there is a possible meeting of beneficial techs you do the pre clinical if in this instance Roche say yeah interested ( why would they not be? they hare really struggling with this product) and if it proves to have potential into the clinic you go .... hopefully paid by Roche...
We have no such deals on anything !.... about time someone managed to get em!
Yeah, great posts crumbs, you are just reminding me the enormous depths of our pipelines.
I can"t see past hearing from Scancell we have entered into a partnership or two, to hasten us through clinical trials and start addressing what must be a very stretched log jam in our future research programmes.
My hope this week is we will hear news on that this week, and the guys fitting my new flooring turn up at 9.30!!!!
Lets have a good one.
