Short term price target is 11.5p which is the nav.
The price of lithium is up again and it won't be long until this company gets alot more interest.
DYOR
And during their Presidency as well, not that the kudos of delivering a sustainable economic resurgence for the country is a motivating force for the powers that be.
Good summary AtD, and the Portuguese Govnt will want to be the first of a kind in the EU....great prestige for them showcasing their countries capabilities.
6000 I've read. So it is comprehensive, but will be complained about publicly as hard for them to understand or review easily. However, it is designed for scrutiny by the experts in country the APA, they are the ones that matter. Given the detail and ESG mitigation I'm not sure what some locals can say other than they just don't eant a mine, whereas APA will be saying they have passed all our tests and questions no reason they can't mine. Portugal wants the EV industry this is their best hand to get started. They can't pass the EIA if it has problems, I get that, but the kitchen sink has been thrown at this, if this can't pass the requirements doubt any will. So nit sure locals will have any new complaints that the APA has not made sure has been covered.
1. They have no local laws for protection
2. They do not have the last say.
Two things I am happy about.
Good post AIMtodeath,
I think it's a bit foolish to bother with price predictions as you say - but should the milestones be reached by the end of this year - most importantly the Environmental Clearance and the partnership with Galp (which tbh I think rests on obtaining said Clearance) - to indicate it's all systems go then I don't see the company hanging around these low levels for a project which will subsequently effectively be shovel and finance-ready post DFS.
Sellbydate, let's say all goes to plan, the eventual share price will depend on things such as the structure of whatever financing deal is arranged and total number of shares, the lithium price, cost margins, the macro European EV picture etc. To be clear though, there are very few projects at MdB's stage, with the quality of resource possible for further expansion, in Europe - that is a very attractive investment proposition imo.
First though SAV needs to get local/state approval of its EIA on a rational, factual, realistic basis without emotional interference, the importance of which can't be emphasised enough - this is Europe not China and the highest standards must be met to satisfy those who might be against the project on an emotional level. I think I read somewhere all the documentation came to over 1,000 pages, the company and its consultants used for it would have put in a hell of a lot of time and effort.
Better to be thorough and open with all relevant parties and take the right amount of time to secure necessary approvals.
Sellbydate - there was an great analysis of the company by SP Angel on 31st of March. The NAV was a conservative 11.5p a share and a BUY recommendation. Note:- Mutamba estimate is for ~$17m, then $215m when 100% owned, that will increase to the NAV to 23.5p. Additionally this is based on discovered Lithium and as AIMtodeath says we are in for extra Licenses with Galp backing.

It won't take 3 years to get plenty of upside.
This year alone will see
1. MOZ solution
2. EIA, big event....due public consultation about now, APA has had all their answers
3. DFS which is likely to double the Scoping Study NPV. So I'll be looking north of $400m AFTER tax NPV as a minimum
4. Extra licence areas in Portugal
No one can predict prices, but I'd be very ****ed not to see 9p post DFS this year (we hit 15p on scoping study! albeit with less shares in issue, tough 2 years for lithium companies) and 15p post finance. 30p built (with extra licences being developed). I also see resource up to 45mt and mine life extended by another 10 years.
Piedmont is a billion dollar company and it is not even financed yet. Just hit 39Mt and will also be a chemical producer
Am intrigued by the story here at SAV. Still seems early stage with lots of upside once the mines are producing. Thinking of opening up a position in the coming week. Is anyone able to give a reasonable price target in say 3 years time?
