Yes moving on username I agree with you !
This isn't a day trader's forum, nor is it a LTHs forum. A lot of the frustration in this thread seems to eminate from a lot of day trader talk on here.
Hard to avoid but staying focussed in the SP and the company is more important than discussing your personal investment strategy and outcomes.
GLA
Typo error That review is for you Kando your last !
Algarve just for you 24 years as an engineer retired early my wife is still there and she has 32 years service nearly but she is company senior staff so a bit more advanced than me ok mate !
Landon do me a favour and go and talk to Bilston I don’t have to debate my finances with you ,so just for the record of course I’ve sold and bought but your obviously to thick to understand aboard investing bye your Filtered waste of time !
for how many years did you work at RR Arsenal if you don't mind me asking?
"Kendo don’t try to tell me about investing"
You're being asked to extend the same courtesy to others. The amount of vitriol you spew daily on this forum is unacceptable. I've held since I bought in last month, but were I to attempt to day trade I wouldn't tolerate being abused by you in the way you've abused others here. You've bought since the 1980s and you'll never sell - we've heard your trading position and your strategy going forward, everyone has heard it; now can you keep your contributions on topic to the SP. You've yet to post anything factually significant to the share or the company, other than a blind belief that in 40 years time it'll be up.
Jay us I’ve traded RR since 1987 mate and I don’t give a monkeys about what people do with there own cash but when you get certain gamblers on here daily banging on about the SP I’m afraid it defeats the object of the forum never mind all the crap they say as they have no idea about the business ,myself and my wife have over 55 years of experience in this business and understand it well .We have done really well financially over 30 years so I we stand at present with over 400 thousands share I don’t think that we are the biggest holders here but everyone for themselves as you say !
OK well all the best with your investments I'll carry on as normal....
I wouldn't be sorry bilston, I say well done if others do not like day traders then that's to bad ,you don't need to apologize to anyone as we are all here for the same reason.
For me it's all about open discussion, nd various point of view. I don't get the aggression and insults.
Arsenal I understand you dont agree with the way some people trade rr shares but their entitled to their opinions.
Some people on here seem far to emotionally attached to the company and sounds like their either giving their money to the company for ever or are seriously down on their investment.
You really dont seem to agree with people selling so do you just leave your money there forever.
Rr think absolutely nothing about being loyal to people like us.
Kendo don’t try to tell me about investing I’m not the one who daily bangs in about the SP and I think you will find that this forum is about investing not Gambling maybe you are another so take your useless comment elsewhere ,Strategy my Ar— LOL
I averaged down to. 98 read all my posts then I sold at 1.1495 with a full reason of why I sold. Sorry you are angry about that.
Cmon Arsenal, give it a rest pal. There's more to the stock market than buying and holding for 20 years. You're just spamming at this point. This is no place for absolutism. Everyone has their own strategy, yours is not the only one, nor is yours the only one that works. Let others discuss the share unmolested, you're just adding a lot of useless noise every day.
Bilston the Gambler 15 January you said I’ve bought in at £1.04 the SP has only been higher than that in the last week so what was your day trading / gambling doing in between Losing I bet !
Bilston also. Gamblers only tell you when they Win never when they Lose !
Bilston what have I said to you before people aren’t interested in your gambling habits ,as wish I knew you when I was an on course bookmaker in the 80s I would of made a fortune of you ,
There is a good chance I'll miss out here but I have a price in mind and I will wait to see if I get it. Even if it takes 2 weeks. That's the discipline side of it.
I can buy back in for 5p less than I sold now. Already made 20% the risk is waiting too long and missing out. I already have my profit so it's derisked.
Day trading isn't difficult if you have discipline. It's risky but not once you have sold higher than you bought initially, that removes some of the risk.
I think I got caught in the fear of missing out and trying to be greedy and that is not good. I have had much better results when I hold on to a stock and not keept checking it every 10 minutes.
I too sucked at day trading which is why I became an investor of good companies back in 2015 in which I could sleep at nights without worrying if my stocks were going up or down.
When the market crashed last year I didn't sell a single share, I just took advantage of the bargain prices add added more shares!
Result 100% up on previous year with a lot more to come. Reinvesting dividends makes me really happy especially Rio's £2.88 coming in April!
Tried to trade this stock and completly messed up and lost 1k doing it...never again. I will now hold on to my small investment of 36300 shares and not sell till next year at least, learned my lesson I completely suck at day trading.
