But if the car is worth a lot of money when the engine is fixed is it not worth the investment?
I’ve given examples of companies cutting big asset values off for peanuts
Can you send the list again please?
Supposing the Rambler board threw in the towel, and put the mine and all associated facilities up for auction to the highest bidder? Would it yield more than the current valuation of c. 7m?
Presumably they would have to repay NewGen as a first charge on the proceeds.
I’m bringing all my mmag profits here, done really well in mmag, should do better here. Imho
With the market cap at £7 million and them needed money to grow. I can only imagine they will get some offers to purchase the business. I am not sure if it will be 35p but I can see 20p at least!
I recently did some Due Dilligence work for a Venture Capital company on one of their investments - they had 2 weeks worth of cash left and since then they have got rid of the last 2 directors and all the staff and premises - no cash, no trading business - they have just engaged me to assist on the sale of the company as there are 2 (possibly 3) interested parties that appear to want to pay over $1M (CAD) for the IP of this startup that has never had a successful sales order (theyve had sales but the product has never worked properly). So those wondering about a copper mine with huge resources and the whole medium term outlook for copper and wondering whether or not Rambler can get a sensible deal to sell, then absolutely they can - and I say it could be all cash or cash and shares or even a straight share swap, but expect it to be min 35p per share
Those saying NewGen will just take the asset have no idea what they are talking about - it doesn't work like that.
If you believe Copper will be at $4 or above within the next 3 mths, then fill your boots - I have already bought more and am now freeing other cash to buy even more at this prices
But I am High risk so follow your own investing strategy and DYOR
Aston I’m in mmag, I bought that at 8p. I will sell that at 16p. I’m also in this, I average around 5p, I will sell this at 20p. I Don’t understand your point?
Is far more than fourteen million. So any you buy down here should double imo. With so little shares. A whiff of positive news and I see a mim of 12 p. And just can’t see it going to the dogs. Who’s to gain from that. No one. Gla.
I love the advertisement posts when a share is down! Haha! I dumped X and bought X today and now I am up X - Why did you not state that this morning when you dumped the shares?
early doors this morning at a huge loss, put it all in MMAG and so far up 30% today after an oversold 75% drop on friday, feeling the pain for those still here
If one attempts to think rationally, it appears to me to make no sense to sell when investors have not yet heard the outcome of the restructuring arrangement. Uncertain as this may be, the company is still operationally viable; it's the balance sheet which crucially needs to be restructured for working capital requirements to be resolved. Admittedly this is uncertain, however, if you think carefully about incentives, are NewGen likely to think that Rambler would be unable to pay them back if they extend current terms and lend an additional amount on top?
The company have stated they are confident that this can be achieved. This news was promised to be released either in conjunction with the HY results or before the end of September, so we will know soon enough.
Although I understand this is a serious situation, I would far prefer to actually know the outcome of any funding arranged then wildly guess, panic and postulate.
If you take a long term view, and take the company at their word, which may seem hard to do, this situation can be resolved.
Stops been hit. And news comes. Seen it quite a few times lately. Gla.
@Gaza Good luck to you!
Reduced my average by 10p, fingers crossed for a bounce.
Has anyone considered putting the mine on care and maintenance until the expected increase in copper price? You cant keep producing when costs are above the commodity price which has plunged again
I am not sure what will happen whether it will be a purchase from another company or whether the company will get the funding it needs or whether it will be another raise! Maybe the Board are getting a back hander for selling the company at a reduced price! That is the reason they sent out the original RNS to drive down the price! Who actually knows its all speculation and nothing is fact until we have an RNS stating it!
Ajones, exactly what I said a few posts back. The share price has been crashed for someone's agenda. A low ball takeover surely a big possibility, rambler ticks alot off boxes and the money were talking about buttons to some off the big players. Nobody doubting the potential off the mine only for the **** show off the chiefs running it. Definely think there,s more to come and rambler not completey dead in the water. Don't think we will have long to wait to find out , shareprice naturally drift downwards but anybody waiting to catch the complete bottom could well be caught out by any sniff of postive news.
I've run out of pants.
Time for the bottom feeders to pick up a bargain perhaps? How much lower can this go in the absence of any news on funding etc. risky but might be one for the traders ???? Off to change my pants, it’s squeaky bum time….
You can't just look at the current market cap as that will increase significantly if new funds are raised at a low share price.
Also you have to include the negative $20million working capital plus $20m in debt.
Is RMM going bankrupt? No way.......
Great post, thank you for your input.
Every time I top this share up, it drops more lol. Fooking share doesn’t like me. :-)
I have read the below from the RNS a few times and I can see more positives than negatives! This mine currently has a market cap of £7 million! Which in my opinion is extremely low for an asset like this! Exploration companies with no mines have market caps 10/20 x what this currently is! As mentioned below I am confident from reading the RNS that the debt will be restructured, and this will be a thriving mine!
It also must be on the radar of some of the bigger mining companies like Glencore when the market cap is so low! The return on investment for a company with large amounts of funds at their disposal! Maybe this is why they released the RNS a few weeks ago at 22p to drive the price down to put this up for sale. At 22p the shareholders would have wanted at least 40p for an asset like this! At 4.50p the new shareholders would be more than happy to sell at 10p - 20p (Not good for me but good for shareholders who have lower averages)
"In the context of the resource base that Rambler holds, the valuation of the Company, even including its current debt position, is exceedingly low. The operations are proving themselves and future production is at less risk than it has ever been. Over and above this, there is strong exploration potential with 3 new mineralized zones discovered just this year.
The need to bring capital into the business is to ensure that long-standing legacy commitments are met and not to support on-going operations. The current drop in copper price is one which we believe to be temporary, but we also recognise the volatility in the market.
We are in discussions with all relevant parties about the need to restructure our liabilities and believe that practical solutions will be found all round."
We should be at the bottom now, just bought some more at 4.30p, not a lot but every little helps. Can see this finishing above 5p. Imho
