@ riiger
@ Broch
Thanks.
Cant see delivery offices offering the same enhancements.
F**k the letters, deliver parcels.
I just love the service we provide.
The additional rate was only for the 23/24 and 30/31 May for those who were willing to work their days off. It’s not an ongoing arrangement, hence the Adidas work being transferred temporarily to the RM network.
Normal sat rate £14.30
Special sat rate £21.50
@ riiger.
That's overtime rate I assume?
riiger, you might be knackered but for £150 a day I would make hay while the sun shines......and it looks like it's gonna shine all next week too :-)
Just the last 2weeks up to now depends how busy we are in
the coming weeks. Cheers
Thanks riiger so you get 7 x £21.50 which is very good compared to other parcel delivery firms. As stated the number of drops in urban areas will be higher but 1st time delivery must be close to 100% which also helps. Any indicator how long this will be in place for? difficult I know with lockdown etc
I do 50 drops and get 7hours in but my run is rural. Never been so busy in the last 10 weeks. (iam absolutely knackered).
riiger/Ispy thanks for sharing and sounds quite a decent rate of course impacted if you are on a rural, I am not clear is this the new ongoing rate for all and I am being really thick is it saying you must work at least 6 hours and deliver 360 items to qualify. My head just isnt computing this morning.
Correct, I do work 4 parcelforce
Mad - As you say it depends on the population density of the area but in an urban/suburban area it would take considerably less than 2 hours to deliver 60 parcels.
Obviously dependant on the density of the area you are delivering to it may or may not be a good rate. delivering 60 parcels would take about two hours at a good pace so it aint a good rate
@riiger.
Any takers?
I'm assuming you work for PF.
21.50 per hour 60 drops or 6 hours minium
@ mad
@ JBT
A colleague told me that all PF drivers were being offered £22 per hour to deliver 65 items per hour
Or £20 for 60.
How true this is, I don't know.
Desperation takes many forms!
@JB Yep the more work the better
madasaballoon is that not great news? more work, more jobs, more overtime? I agree managing exceptional volumes will present challenges but must be better than having no work or losing it to competitors.
I am hearing Parcel force are in absolute dire straits. They are totally inundated with work so much so that their DO's are refusing to accept any further trailers. These trailers are now stacked up at Coventry hub hundreds of them. RM will be getting some of this work the Addidas contract starts Tuesday more may follow
