@ wolvesposty.
I've been accepting change for over 30 years. The changes have been huge.
Every single postie I've worked with has accepted change.
So. We are all singing from the same hymn sheet.
And I wasnt being insulting. I asked a simple question which you have now answered, albeit for every single postie, past and present.
So wolvesposty, if we all accept change, like we have done for years, where do the savings come from?
What more should we do for the greater good?
Please explain in layman's terms as I'm too thick to understand.

Bye..... don't let the door slam you on the arse on the way out
guys I think its time to do what arsenal said and leave this facebook page to the trolls.....I will hold because I believe... I will work for royal mail because they pay my wage and a bloody good one.... scamp, ispy, mad, charlie and keith keep yourself amused.... fruit,jb,red,pp,and feline plus others I wish you well...
SO ISPY I ACCEPT CHANGE.... THATS WHAT I CAN DO!!!!!!!!you thick or cannot read???? my turn to throw insults
ispy I quoted"ispy I will answer that in an instant....I accept change going forward and if its in the good of the company then great.... if you think you know more than the CEO then apply for the job mate" refer to the LETTER (I)...ACCEPTED???????????????
Bristolcupid even reducing by 1 day would make a massive difference. There are a number of services for Business customers that could be extended for domestic customers, that's why I am keen to see any report on USO. There is also an argument to say keep the delivery spec the same as long as we can grow letters mail which is a challenge.
ispy read back
Why not change daily pedestrian postal deliveries to say every other day or less (unless the remitter pays a suitable premium) - freeing up time for the workforce to concentrate on parcel deliveries & compete with Hermes on price - the infrastruture is already in place with RM depots/Post Offices/Workforce & vans etc.
@ wolvesposty.
Clocking in and out? You mean swiping in and out using your ID card.
The idea of "clocking in and out" has been mooted for over 20 years.
You may not believe this but the CWU were all in favour of it. And they will be again.
Why do you think that was, and still is?
You use that as a productivity tool? Dear oh dear!!!

@ wolvesposty.
I understand that you may have difficulty understanding this, but I said YOU!
How can RMG make YOU more productive.
It's a simple question. Please answer.

ispy clocking in and out is coming..... massive saving do you not think?
and ispy if change is wrong going forward then the CEO loses his position..... shareholders will see to that....
ispy I will answer that in an instant....I accept change going forward and if its in the good of the company then great.... if you think you know more than the CEO then apply for the job mate
@ wolvesposty.
You are one of the more vociferous on here regarding savings that could be made.
How could RMG get you, just you, to be more productive? Thereby helping the company and making you a bit richer in the process.

jb in 5 yrs the cwu will be a distant memory.... and to be fair we need unions... its a shame they do not look at market forces and accept change and work alongside the people that pay the wages...… look at the high streets? what union has saved their jobs?????? NO ONE!!!!!
PP great stuff and god willing we will be here in a few years saying great to see the business, the employees and shareholders all doing well oh and the CWU saying isn't the future looking better...
JB I’ve still got the 3030 shares all employees were guaranteed to be able to buy at the start. And then I bought a chunk with some inheritance money and another chunk last week when I sold the Porsche. Therefore I’m a LTH as well.
pp this dispute will not go our way.... we are losing money hand over fist... gls are keeping us afloat.....I can see a sell off very shortly and as an employee I am worried but only doing another 2 yrs.... but as an investor very excited.
scamp I gave you a bit of credit today and you backed off a little with your spiel. look market forces will sort this and it will not and repeat will not be at shareholders expense....we have to accept change!!!!!!!!!!!! and we as in royal mail not amazon!!!!! keep listening to your ex colleagues and spout all you like on here...…... go to bed do your night shift matey….
JB as an employee and investor I salute you mate
dbno what has changed since your last and previous call? "£2 coming. I called this weeks ago!!" have your charts shown a change? or was that you just doing what some traders do? good luck with your trade you must see some upside here.
PP thanks I have been involved in quite a number both local and national and I have yet to see anyone win. It mainly resulted in some dissatisfied customers leaving and making alternative arrangements ( as derekR articulated very well from actual experience) with some never to come back I personally think some of the low level traders on here revel in the potential disruption and as long as they make a few bob don't give two hoots about the employees or the business. I think most regulars have cottoned on but if in any doubt just check peoples posting history. I am more than happy to have anyone look at mine and all they will see is I support RMG and I hold shares and will do for the very long term. I wonder how many of the current crop of doubters or saviours (they change on a regular basis on most shares) will be around in 4 or 5 years I will bet probably none.
back in for some @ 210.5p. i'm sure price was under 210p when i tried to buy.
I’ve been involved in a few instances of IA and it always struck me as a nuisance. I sometimes voted against it but never crossed a picket line but then again I never desperately needed the money. It always eventually worked out in favour of the workers. Whether it does this time though I’m not sure.
