Sorry it was March and the video is below the write up about RRE
Rgds Sft
Haha quite correct SR, he has probabley, in the past, had to outsource someone to build the presentation...and due to "cost savings" for the share holders sacked the IT boy.
Look I apolagise in advance to the BB but I am big fan of RRE and Andrew Austin...just take a look at Malkeys interview in April with him AND inparticular his closing statment at the end of the interview. This REALLY reveals alot about the right attitude for a director of a company.

Sobel Moody is the complete opposite.
Pity RRE's direction is more gas than oil, is all I can say!
Rgds Sft
It would only be ten minutes work for our overpaid leader to change the date on his usual PowerPoint and upload it to the corporate website.... mind you he would have to remember to amend the Egyptian assets slide so it might be fifteen minutes so on reflection this could be one of his annual KPIs and trigger a bonus or a few million free shares
Did anyone say there was going to a further update from the AGM...OR is that statement REALLY IT?
Have they ever issued such a dismissive AGM before?
No update on OM
No update on Navitas
No update on liquidity
Now they know that they really can do what ever they want. My best guess would be that they have issued information to the largest controlling investors and not bothered with the PI's
There must be some way of finding out the voting results?
Really sums up Sobel Moody when he cant be bothered to attempt to present an update.
Currahee Sobel Moody, Currahee.
Lets hope the Saudi's and Russians keep to the cuts. Hopefully they have both learned that they have to and if we can keep to +$40 and creep up to $50 Navistas can sell to some Sea Lion investors.

It's just Godders making things up again

Sorry Godders. Failure to vote means you are disenfranchised, not treated as affirmative. You just don't count.
Well , the market must have agreed ( Not ) that the AGM vote was a resounding victory for the BOD !!! And that was why the SP dropped .
Igloo24,
Thanks for the post. Will be interesting to see if the do post the voting results. As you say it would also tell a significant story that/if they do not.
I am not surprised, getting a vote down was going to be a long shot, but if the votes against were of some size it should be treated (but I doubt it) as a warning short for Sobel Moody. Hard to fathom how any "rational" investors can think that Sobel is doing a good job.
Well for me its not over. The next way for ward is to the Press.
I would need a suitable title to send in to, say the Telegraph: Can Private Investors ever stop a runaway board of directors?
Then go into the detail for the squandering of finances, failed business acumen, directors continued high salaries and share grabbing.
Backing it up with the RNS's to prove the loss of company cash reserves and directors pay, bonuses and only when the money was running out a share grab.
I believe it to be a topic that some of the tabloids could pick up.
As a long term holder, and without others cash to prop up the required average down, Sobel and his 2iC are very dangerous, inept and very greedy little piggy's.
"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning"
Rgds Sft
IMO Godders anyone who couldn't be bothered to vote deserves to lose the lot, it took me minutes via ii against these parasites
Now that their collective unjust bonuses are guaranteed, we may well see some movement to the upside, more gravy anyone.
Let's see what the next postcard from Italian Riviera, upper nile says
Godders,
"The issue with the shareholder voting is no responses are treated as affirmatives"
I cant see that in the articles....

You can write to the Company Secretary requesting details of voting. See what they say

I certainly would like to know the size of the ''rebellion''. If it is less than 500,000, then I know my broker is a lying **** :)
" Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas exploration and production company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin, is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today were duly passed." Anybody else want to actually know the votes that were cast for and against each motion? They were published previously, but now nothing....BOD embarrassed about the results perhaps? Come on, stop treating us like fools. I've invested in your company, have the courtesy to give me the results.
