In hindsight it makes complete sense to start trading once the UK closed. Volume is off the scale vs the daily average on AIM - getting up towards 1m ADS traded already - if that trend is maintained then lookout, as we know how tightly held the AIM shares are...
14.65 as i write
opened at 16.20 pm uk for insiders 1630 for punters starting to motor now
That's was 3pm right? No sign of any activity yet...
Shear just found out trading in rnlx to start at 10 am edt.
I expect it'll open above the IPO level & rise towards the $16.50 level - this is where the price was yesterday on AIM (£6.60). Suspect there will be significant retail demand given recent rises seen in Livongo etc. We'll know in a few hours time...
Thanks to Big Bobby for the explanation. I had thought that "eligible investors" might include UK RENX shareholders but obviously not. Let's hope the Nasdaq float will be a success and the SP will rise significantly. They are getting quite a discount on yesterdays SP.

Can new shares be bought? In principle, yes. However, the prospectus makes clear that the new shares on offer outside the US are not available to the general public. There are strict definitions concerning those outside the US who can buy, which in effect rule out the vast majority of private investors. I checked this in some detail, by looking up the definitions of eligibility and by speaking to the Nomad, who saw no way forward (unless my broker happened to hold a special account with Stifel or J.P.Morgan). Curiously, the RNS published this morning states (if I am reading it correctly) that 30,000 new shares only (!) will be on offer in the global offer outside the US. This seems to me to be a misprint, as otherwise the company will be going to an enormous amount of bother to raise an extra £160,000.
So, one way or another, outside of special cases, Joe Bloggs and the man on the Clapham omnibus will not be eligible. However, when new shares are offered, there is a tendency, as we all know, for the SP to move down in the direction of the float price (in this case 537p) and that process can already be seen this morning. Given that there will also be some selling when new shares are traded, we may see the SP dropping to a level not far from the float price, perhaps giving interested investors a chance to buy in at, relatively speaking, not too unfavourable a price.
Investors other than qualified investors under applicable law will not be eligible to participate in the ordinary share private placement. All ADSs and ordinary shares to be sold in the Global Offering will be sold by RenalytixAI.
The ADR's are priced at £5.37 ie almost 20% discount to current price. Anyone know if UK shareholders can participate?
well if I cant call you mate please don't call me mate you nasty little #### was only trying to be friendly
Thought the IPO pack was good, still haven't read it all yet.
Be interesting to see if there is more information about how much the patients in the clinical test deciles overlapped with Renalytix deciles or whether they were largely different. Little overlap would be very interesting.
Thought you said your holding was around 30k?
Ha, he really isn't pushing it - take a look at posts on other BB's before throwing mud... It was the last day to buy before the NASDAQ pricing is announced & IPO takes place, and the bid was at 5.83 this morning, closed at 6.02. Plenty more to come if you care to do some research :)
