Aw cute, I liked the positivity :) x
On a more serious note I am hoping that I can replicate what I did here years ago, and that opportunity may well arise the way the drill is progressing (or not depending on personal viewpoint). That is to buy at sub 0.5p and sell again at 1p when the drilling is complete. The spread of course will determine the exact timing. Yes I know I missed that opportunity a few months ago, but I have more free cash to have a punt now following some good trading since Covid-19 started
There you are TradingLad some positivity. I'll leave you all now for a while, but keep the faith. This may yet buck the trend of Oil Exploration companies being successful in these difficult times.
great points TL and NVG. That's why we drill. To see what is there. Have a good day now. I'm off out in the jolly rain
persi certainly isn't winning, if he was he wouldn't be spending as much time as he does w(H)ining on here..
the winner in this game is the one that accumulates the most chips and the most toys
the market volatility - which I said would happen, and the determined seller has enabled me to continue to slowly accumulate here. If I thought it was someone in the know dumping stock then I would be more worried, it isn't as far as I'm concerned it's a continuation of the selling thats been happening for weeks. No interest in the story or the fundamentals just a strategic move to reduce a holding. That's good news as I see it and a chance to top up a bit more - which I have been. Coupled with heavily shorting markets and building a portfolio of 20 cyclicals (previously sold) I feel that compared to persi and his sad goading life I'm probably winning more than him..
from a pure risk and reward play, the odds are still in favour of the longs here, let's see who wins in the end..??!!
BH, I agree, his negativity is shallowing and it'll soon be positivity with an air of "I told you so" about it but as long as people are getting wound up and engaging with him, he's winning cause that's all he really want is to stir the pot.
I'll never promote being an expert but all I will say is my background is O&G and I'm a process controls engineer when it comes to Geologists I have two words Laggan Toremore... for those of you unfamiliar with this project when I was Working for Total Geologists declared that there was a massive amount of gas under the seabed, only gas and nothing more, so they contracted Petrofac to build a receiving plant for gas on the Shetlands. When they flowed the wells would you like to guess what came out? that right oil, making the plant useless... the moral of the story, take anything that a geologist says with a large helping of salt!
Hi TL, good of you to post and good to hear you are holding. I have see you on a number of boards I have been on/in, so I always like it when other savvy people are in the share.
I don't really agree with you on the persi-winning view though. What is good to see with his posts and responses, is how any previous messages that masqueraded as serious comment (always slanted to the negative) are then undermined by his silly playground nonsense attitude now. He shows himself for what he really is. Anyone who reads this BB in detail will be able to work this out and it then totally undermines any subsequent posting.
I think he realises this by this stage, so does not bother with any serious deramping efforts. It's too late for that.
What has happened is we have a couple of 'geologists' trawling out lengthy, technical sounding bumpf that is again always slanted to the negative. This is intended to put off any would be new investors and encourage a nervous holder to dump a few 'for safety'. Why you would credit them rather than the actual Rathlin team with the data, I do not know. Bearing in mind A1 and A2 already are classed as discoveries. B1 has a very good chance of joining them in the Kirkham Abbey and is right in the zone now. Even Doc Holiday reckons so and he is always behind on his timelines, naughty little fella.
Anyway, that's all I'll right for now. Write ! (predictive text on the iphone is a gas eh!)
I love checking in on this board from time to time (I am a holder after all) to see what the keyboard warriors are up to but seriously guys, do you honestly not recognise that Persi is out for attention haha... as long as you keep biting he'll keep winding you up, and don't come out with "I'm only giving as good as I get" because trust me on this when I read through the comments, he is winning haha...

Seeing we are talking about pantomimes what's happening at West Newton?
Indeed Jack... the ugly sisters have been here all along
“a theatrical entertainment, mainly for children, which involves music, topical jokes, and slapstick comedy and is based on a fairy tale or nursery story, usually produced around Christmas.“
I agree Kristof. We have character’s on here that are outright pantomime villains, postulating every negative under the sun......moving from one to the next
Not too sure what they are attempting to achieve but their posting history stands out like a sore thumb. Disconnected, illogical, some attempting to gain trust though their “expert” knowledge.
All in drag, they are not difficult to spot, however subtle they think they are.
“It’s behind you”..........”oh no it’s not”
“Oh yes it is”
We have all the characters sussed and are sat ready for the show to commence.
