HI BlackHopper. By 'throw money' I was referring to Corallian, not WN. I'm sorry for not being more explicit, since I'm more than happy with our investment in the latter ….. so far.
All the best. GP
BlackHopper.... I'm invoking the Fifth Amendment on the grounds that I may incriminate myself.
Stop playing with your balls Percy!
Boing!!!
Nothing in my pockets Guv !!
BH, please feel free to have a go at this bb's Cameron Bancroft.
Desmond, if you look at the February presentation on the Reabold website (always worth a re-visit!) the A2 test should have been in June. So it is late.
But the presentation was made before Covid. So it is not surprising it is late. However, i would expect it pretty soon.
B1 well shows for August perhaps into late September. From the looks of the well-pad progress, that could well be a timeline that is hit. B2 drill follows straight on. They will do the second drill while they have the rig onsite. Naturally.
Anyway you look at it, there are Monster-monster positive, we hope, sitting just a few weeks out. i know it's hard, but people need to chill out and let it happen. As the song says:
'Don't push it, don't force it, let it happen naturally...... 'cos....' How does it go ???? You can sing it. Go on!
Desmond45....I have to correct you, they (RBD) have not been' kicking the W.N A2 can down the road' for a year until next month.
Did you also know that the 'SPIN twins S & S' are now being mentioned in the same breath as Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitheran. What are they going to deliver next, will it be a flipper or a googly, and will the masters of the art of disguise be able to fool us once again, as with Colter?
Desmond, one thing I do know is that there has been a concerted effort to give as little advantage to the protestors as possible regarding timings. Rathlin, who of course run the operation, will be far less interested in updating UJO or RBD shareholders than UJO or RBD will be, but Rathlin are in charge. At the end of the day long term holders won't be so interested in regular updates - as you know it's more to the advantage of those attempting to trade. But of course I'm just as curious as everyone else. I wish I didn't live on the other side of the country - I could go and have a look at progress instead of relying on hullpete's twitter pictures.
Why dont S&S just come out and say we are going to test WNA and drill WNB at the same time. They have kicked the can down the road for about a year now.. works will start in line with covid restrictions my arse... we are not children just tell us the truth.
I am here for payday. Invest in your own business and it's all the hard work, slog, years of commitment, building, improving, proving, having the records... when you sell that's payday.
Ha Rubey, fair point! I guess I could not resist.
GP, I'm not sure the phrase 'throw money' really applies. I'm certainly surprised to hear it from someone invested. The £24 million raised last October was gleaned from II's as far as I understand it and I do not think those II's would have taken part if they did not feel the targets S&S had for their money were not worthy!
Now the money is invested into Rathlin and ADX, S&S are not in control from an operational standpoint.
So all posts intimating they should 'hurry up' and 'get on with it' are not appropriate and mis-represent the situation as it actually is.
Clearly, those with a negative agenda who would like a lower buy-in will happily mis-represent the actual situation. However, both ADX and Rathlin appear to operate in a steady, professional manner so results will come in time. They have both shown they can achieve positive results already.
Let's hope for some great results and some 'boomage' on the SP. That is why I am here and all other like minded investors too I would image.
ATB BH
With exec directors' remuneration I'm far more interested in what they have done for the market cap and the share price, rather how much they have invested in projects. Any fool can throw money at a project; it's the results that count, IMHO.
'Ruben, forget about persimmon. Filter him if you find it annoying. He will bang on until the cows come home. Just ignore and consider the bigger picture....'
BH are you the only person allowed to have a go at that prat? lol
£25 million invested in WN and Parta (I'll leave the others). Salaries and bonus/pensions amount to approx 2% of that. Not terrible
Plenty of other CEO's on similar or more.
Stop trying to muddy the water and take people's attention off the main event...or should I say events.
Can Rathlin find lots of oil and gas in West Newton? can ADX find lots of gas in Parta? That is what it's about.
The SP recoverd well from silly Covid lows. Brent was just over $43 earlier today. The WN-A wells were MUCH MUCH better than expected. Now let's see what is under the B site. not long to wait.... tick, tock

Also, both drills are funded for THIS year. That is the program that has always been presented.

I wouldn’t say £184k (see 2019 accounts) was over paid in comparison with other AIM company CEO’s, as the average is much higher.

Our friend Dave Bramhill at UJO is on £160k !!
I always focus on skin in the game And the Directors share/options holding put them in the Top 8 of RBD investors.
Jack
Another nonsense post Percy. Do you work for Share-Talk?
Yes, by equivalent companies with the same value they are very well overpaid, and it's not just me saying that neither its many analysts.. Perhaps there is a reason for not hurrying proceedings on W.N. I await the contrary view with trepidation lol.
Yes, watching RBD's share price is like watching paint dry. I wonder that our two over-paid execs don't try to do something about it. Or maybe they are, but it's having no effect.
...look at the UJO 3 month chart and compare it to the RBD 3 month chart.
This should help you pass the time. Still no work for me so it's running, fishing and pampering the wife... GLA
