Dpsandison - the MSC Joint development agreement RNS released on the 21st jan stated “Initial activities under the JDA will include project initiation, definition, high-level scoping and feasibility activities ("Initial Activities") of the overall Trial. The Initial Activities are to be completed within 3 months”.
Re: the other timelines these were all stated in the investormeet presentation held on the 8th March.
I really hope so TechyRob, I hope it’s tomorrow :) but I am just throwing in the ‘QFI calendar ‘ so I am not raising my expectations too much ! Age old saying no expectations no disappointments!
Although I am expecting £1 + in the years ahead :) . Hopefully an enjoyable ride ahead is on the horizon!
Just the thick lad here where is this written? Please
Obviously it’s speculative but I think we’re looking at days / weeks not months Tuchman. MK clearly had something in mind to claim the MSC trial definition would be completed within 3 months and as we’ve just passed this point now I imagine we’ll hear something imminently. Not to mention we also have Utah samples, Morocco updates and BioMSAR updates due now. One of those at the very least will be showing itself imminently IMO.
I really do think that we will get an RNS maybe this month or next clearing the whole next phase issue up. It would be a massive value add to the company so unless there are NDA’s in place (why would there be) I am expecting some form of update. The company IMO really do need to demonstrate the size, scale and potential that this can deliver not only for the financials but for the environment as well. They have been tweet happy recently, hopefully they can be RNS happy over these next few months.
It does seem conspicuous that they are not replying to questions about fuel supply for MSC. Does make you wonder whether this is the area that is currently under negotiation (recognising that others have pointed it out earlier as a likely candidate).
I also sought clarification on the same issue and have yet to receive a reply!
I did seek clarification on the matter from IR a few weeks ago but as yet, no reply. Will share if one comes through.
But surely they need a contract with Cepsa for example? There needs to be a similar deal that we had with Maersk/Cepsa/QFI.
JOINT DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH MSC SHIPMANAGEMENT LIMITED
Quadrise is pleased to announce it has signed a Joint Development Agreement ("JDA") with MSC Shipmanagement Limited of Cyprus ("MSC"), a 100% subsidiary of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA headquartered in Geneva, to carry out an MSAR® Operational Trial (the "Trial") on commercial container vessels in the MSC global fleet commencing in 2021 with, subject to further agreement, subsequent commercial rollout upon success. The MSC Group is one of the world's largest cargo shipping and cruise line companies.
To me it seems the next agreement will be for commercial rollout, this JDA covers up to commercial rollout and covers all Lono arrangements.
Unhappy to be wrong on this, but willing to hear others thoughts
Yes, but...there’s no point in procuring equipment if you don’t have a contract for a trial and without said contract you can’t prepare fuel production. We don’t yet have a contract announced so we therefore have to assume that most of that preparation is yet to be done. The contract is the starting gun for everything to follow on from.
From the interim results March 2021
During Q2-Q3 calendar 2021, we will be working to procure the equipment for fuel production, and the vessel(s) fuel booster system(s) and to commence the process of preparing the vessel(s) and the fuel production site to enable the commencement of the LONO trial(s) in the second half of 2021.
This appears to be the updated version of events for anyone who missed it, phase 2 is underway, next phase fill the boat with Marine MSAR and get on with Lono
