Hod10 put an excellent post up on the board yesterday that was lost in all the noise, here it is again:-
A little reminder...nothing has changed here except for some stupid Elon tweet and a general red week on every market across the board.
I have always said I believe the algorithm and quantum technology could be the most important factor here rather than the *physical* mining.
QBT are not going to match up to ARB on physical mining, rigs and data centres anytime soon but the actual speed at which they *could* mine is something that every single miner and blockchain company in the world will be looking at.
I think the last paragraph here sums that up "research...that can be exploited with the right partner."
A company like Argo will simply not be able to ignore the potential power and speed of quantum mining. FG knows that, and everyone will be knocking on his door soon wanting a piece of that secret algorithm.

Working on the very cutting edge of science and technology
Focused on quantum computing and blockchain
Developing an R&D team with scientists from UCL and Milan
Our strategy is one where we will deliver intermediate results that are very attractive not only for our own use but might also be useful for other companies too. So, some of our research will be medium- and long-term. Other parts of our research will be short-term that can be exploited with the right partner.
I hope for good news and a great future ahead as I'm invested, but am hesitant. I would say that the types of people investing in such a share have a good level of intelligence and know the industry. If QBT is so special then surely it would be snapped up and not be sitting at 1p. GLA but I'm waiting and watching before committing to buying more.
@pictland For transparency purposes are you an investor or a troll or just a concern citizen working as agent for a platform?
Kindest Regards schalf
IBM and others allow access via the cloud to their Quantum computers. Maybe FG will surprise us all and outdo the big players in this field, but it is a huge maybe. It will be years yet before there are any big advances in Quantum computing. Yet, all of a sudden FG is going to take the Quantum computing world by storm, when he can't even organise crypto mining. As I have said before, why has he been involved with this company for all these years when he could have been making his fortune mining crypto or developing AI etc?
They have probably lost their crypto mining portakabin. That'll be why nothing is happening. They will have mislaid it somewhere in a field in Eastern Europe ??.
I simply add some sense to the utter tripe which is posted some of the time on here. Maybe the truth hurts.
QBT has access to Quantum Computers and the ability to program them. Who else in the world of Crypto mining has these two attributes Pictland, I am all ears? I think this is new, sadly you are not, you simply trot out the same tired malignant views day after day.
All shares are risky else we would all be millionaires sunning ourselves in the Caribbean.
That's a huge IF. That's why this is a very risky share.
You say "... no one else has this..." Has what? QBT don't have anything. It's all hot air again. Same as it has been for years. Nothing new here.
Great post Hod10, that i s why I am here. Everyone is all het up about QBT using standard ASIC rigs to mine BTC with green power. There is much more to this company than that.|Very few people can program Quantum Computers, let alone have access to them. We have been told that we do.
If they can make this work then QBT will turn the current world of Crypto mining on its head, with technology and IP that it can licence out. No one else has this. The technology could be applied to many areas apart form Crypto, for instance in Fintech. FG needs some space to get this done. I will wait patiently for him to do so.
