That's good news Gix. That is one of the best companies we have had to date making another product with FF. That should add some revenue growth.
Here is another from Sery Box.

Dr_H, I suppose it would be regulated by food safety and standards authority of India.
https://www.fssai.gov.in/
No Knowledge of anything else other than I was aware that I haven't seen any Indian products with FF yet.
New regs were introduced in India at the end of 2016. FAQ Page:

Can only assume that FF got caught up in this, as it did in the EU and later in China.
But as it is coming to India, that means that Provexis or another company is in the process of obtaining the associated health claims. Or has it already?
The India news is something I was not really aware of. Any idea why it is not already in India and what has changed, who would be releasing products and/or distributing, or what regulatory hurdles have been passed?

Thank you to those of you that have posted useful information (especially Gixer who I have appreciated on here for years for all the information that is posted) - I will once again stop posting on the board and leave you to it.
Hi Alfista, the "New" poster, I did say that I am a very poor trader, so I have not been able to make the most of the opportunities over the years - but, in truth, my average at one point was actually, believe it or not, 13.5p (2013). I bought on the dips to get the average down to just under 6p (partly by selling my SiS shares back in the day). I am well aware that we make out own choices and nothing is compulsory - you don't have to get 'holier than thou' with me because I came on here to ask for opinions. I have held on to my shares for a long time with plenty of hopeful false dawns. I am not 'bemoaning' I just want what I hope everyone wants - which is to make some money out of this 'investment' rather than where I am now. I certainly am not looking to make enemies...
I agree with that summation Dr H, precisely because anything other than those already notified issues would represent price sensitive news and would have to be notified when it happened. An annual statement can't really spring surprises.
The "new" poster, bemoaning the "long wait" and the "high average" should really reflect on the opportunities that have been available in the years that elapsed to buy more shares at much lower levels than today's sp. We all make our own choices, nothing is compulsory.
I expect the update to be on Friday the 30th December and provide:
- Confirmation that the By-Health clinical studies have completed
- That the SAMR approval will be submitted in due course
- An update on the current financial position
- An update on the funding for the Fruitflow existing stock purchase from DSM
- An update on the transfer of business from DSM to Provexis
- Something around new direct Provexis customers coming onboard
- Covid 19 related disruptions caused a drop in revenue
What I imagine that we will not get much detail on will be:
- Fruitflow plus Nitrates launch (the never ending story)
- Fruitflow +Omega 3 sales through the Chinese Cross-Border e-commerce ('CBEC') channel
- Research on a contrabiotic in collaboration with the University of Liverpool
- DSM's commercialisation of Fruitflow for modulating gut microbiota
- DSM's Premix Solution plans
Then we will get the standard woolly stuff that you can't grab hold of:
- The total projected annual sales value of the prospective sales pipeline for Fruitflow continues to stand at a substantial multiple of existing annual sales
- An increasing number of further commercial projects have been initiated with prospective customers, including some prospective customers which are part of global businesses
That's my guess.
Then the next formal update is September '23, but news can come in any time.
Thanks Gixer; I guess the proof of the pudding will be if the company do actually buy all of the remaining stock and actually do go after cash - that might be when/if the price might be affected. I was aware of roughly what the cash balance was - but it's all about what will actually get the price to move (upwards!). We seem to have been waiting for soooo long for any news that will lift the price - not withstanding all the stuff you unearth about new products etc. etc. for which I am very grateful!
At 31 March 2022 we had £864k but we have already been told that if the company decide to buy all of DSM's remaining stock of Fruitflow then the company will need cash. This was announced in the year end results and it didn't "knock the price".
Thanks adm04, yeah I was kinda worried that the half year report might be flat - or worse, talk about a shortness of cash that might knock the price a bit more. All these years I've waited for the equivalent of the 'Coke' RNS hoping the price would spike, but alas nothing that dramatic...
Daddy Cool. There should be a half year report update coming soon which should give more details on 2023 plans.
Thanks for the reply, Dr_Horrible - I really hope you are right...!
The main aim of the company has always been to get into China. Following regulation changes in 2016 that scuppered plans by multiple companies that were interested in Fruitflow, we may finally get SAMR approval and it's own health claim that no other product will have. By-Health, the biggest supplements brand in China, will be using FF as the basis of their cardiovascular health range. Their media reports also suggest that as the sole distributor in China, they have a large number of multinational food and drinks companies showing strong interest in commercialising FF in China.
After many years things will soon get interesting. What will eventually drive the share price is income and forecast growth. We expect that the initial By-Health orders will move us into well profit and massively reduce the investment risk.
You don't want to leave just as things are getting interesting.
...oh and before anyone asks, I've got 1 million shares here at an average of about 6p. I am not new to this forum - I've come in and read the chats over the years but haven't had anything useful to add so have stayed quiet. I thought I was happy to just leave these to either give me something back or write them off as I have already had to deal with the massive loss. But truth is £6-7K is still a lot of money for me (or anyone, I guess) to lose so I have had my finger hovering over the sell button today.
I've been in this share for years - from way back before Moon took his 'windfall'. I've been stupid enough (and not brave/clever enough) to not trade my position; So I am sat on a hefty loss. I was kinda hoping (probably like most on here) to see some sort of positive rally around the Blue Cap status or a big new product that would maybe spark some interest - but it has been so flat for so long I'm thinking 'enough is enough'. Knowing my luck, the minute I sell the news will break (and I guess that's what's kept me here for so many years!!!) but I'm also kinda worried that the decision to break away from DSM could be the start of the end of the road...? What are the feelings here?
Do you not recognise that such pieces of information would be price sensitive, and therefore they would be notified at ANY time, not in a period end report. Such big news can not be held back. Them's the rules
As pointed out by Keith Baldwin we need some good news ,what about byhealth update on bluecap ,the final 3 experiment what stage are they at
We "know" the results already.
And what news we are expecting, but not when.
We know the risk to finances, and why.
I'm anticipating pretty much a non event, unless stock financing has been resolved.
I presume you mean: "we will see after the half year results which way we are heading?" I've been in this share for 10 plus years and could do with some positive results/news at long last.
Shame about the sp ,and after the half year results which way sre we heading
