Nigel you come across as a 'guy' whose just done a Google search on E&P terms and terminology
GRH given the very light exploration over Guercif and the dearth of 3D you have to view the CPR from an almost pure modelling angle.
As more expensive wells are drilled, expensive 3D seismic carried out and pricey CPR's published we will have our answer if commercial hydrocarbons (or none) exist within the Guercif licence.
Keep ramping
In all honesty, Paul's communication has been a constant feature of this share. The lack of comms. during the CLN spiral was infuriating, but it was clear that he has plans and will keep them to himself. Only recently has the rate of interviews increased so to me this has been a factor I've experienced and accepted 'to a degree'. As others I had hopes the IR/PR firm would change that but it didn't.
The only point I make is one can't try to apply normal expected standards when deciding why PRD did or didn't include xyz in any announcements
Evening GRH. Not going to attempt any calculations myself - not that I doubt yours . The aspect that I cant quite grasp is your confidence in finding extractible gas in economic quantities. If the results of MOU-1 do truly look to have some good potential (gas shows, logs etc) I really struggle to understand PGs communications/RNSs/lack of an interview etc. Maybe he does have some bigger plan and doesn't worry about the investors, but he must have known what the reaction would be to his initial MOU-1 results RNS (he's been in the game long enough).
It's great to see that he's progressing discussion for potential offtake agreements etc, but if he's still so confident, it would have been nice to show it, with reasons/evidence, from the first results RNS. I do agree the following RNSs were better, but the damage had already been done.
In the 2012 CPR I seem to remember (but please correct if wrong) it mentions another nearby well that was reentered for testing a potential gas zone, but that they couldn't find any reporting of results (to me this probably indicates a poor result - although that may not be the case). You haven't got your hands on that report have you? :)
I do share your overall enthusiasm and remain long, but I think I would attribute a significantly lower chance of commercial success to the whole Moroccan venture. Geology is tricky beast.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents, and I have to say I did enjoy reading your post re. valuation (and others), but I am always very sceptical of high resource values with no nearby evidence of economic, flowable gas (I don't consider Rharb as close in this respect).
You too, Matt!

Thanks GRH. Yes, I've read the 2012 SLR CPR and company presentations, but will do so again in more detail. What struck me then was how little activity there has been in the area, and most of it looking for things to mine (like coal). Not sure when I'll have a few hours of time uninterrupted, but I'll add it to my list of things to do! Cheers and have good evening and weekend.
I wonder which MOUCH you have in GRH ??
I few spring to mind but I can hazard a guess who would be top of the list ..... Parasite
Homework has been set ;-)

Evening Highland Matt
You could do a lot worse IMO than to study the 2012 CPR produced by SLR for Pathfinder
and to read it alongside the company presentations
What stands out might be the scale of hydrocarbon assets in the vicinity
and the geological structures there
I don't want to say more as I really mean it when I say DYOR ...
and I don't want folk to rely on MY research
I hope that is some help
Regards

Hello Chesh
As to the CPR...
it will be greatly to the upside if correct
but it needs more research
and time will surely tell
BTW..
Whilst I am a great admirer of your writings...
I sense that your considerable light is overly hidden ...seemingly beneath several bushels
Assuredly , you will wish to break free
and give everyone here the benefit of your considerable but latent intellect
so...
Why don't you have a try
at doing a more accurate job of Michael Caine?
Regards
GRH
Thanks for this GRH. Unfortunately some have more time than others, and some have better access to various info than others. I'm always willing to do reading around my (potential) investments, but could you at least give us a clue as to which document we should read? Is it one published by PRD? If so, when? Many thanks for all your help.
That's not nice............ :(
Kinda contradicts his, but not your, findings GRH.............!
"Things which he and I had both missed ...but should have noted"
All the best (good luck ............. :()
Evening all
Are there ANY takers please who will kindly challenge the maths in Michael Caine?
come on roll up roll up...the floor is yours
BTW...
I have long banged on about the absolute necessity to study the 2012 CPR
I have studied it in detail several times over
and several other docs
and I have my own insight into the assets
So I thought I was clued up 100%
However...I was contacted today by another shareholder
who kindly pointed out a few things that blew my mind
Things which he and I had both missed ...
but should have noted
so I am going to RE-study this weekend
ALL available docs re Guercif and surrounding areas
anyone invested here might wish to do the same
Regards
