steven49 i don't want to seem mean , but WTF are you on about as all i keep reading are incoherent posts. Get a grip or do us all a favor an do one.
Looking back trafigura come too rescue of ppc taking away lot debt P L had built up, again ATOME is some consolation too long suffering share holders,
Academic either way comeonvog, as what you or I or others post here makes the square route of buck all to this s/p .. but these are the games we play.. and the mind demands its stimulation :-)
NicetoMichu Just my opinion no need to feel provoked. But if you want to post "FULL FORCE" feel free.
Share price tells all, just not delivered, Atome is some consolation 4 holding ppc
''NicetoMichu least your honest , but really we don't need traders here''
I kinda understand why you say that comeonvog, but again - for the nth time - you are not the person who decides who gets to post what here.
(Equally, I could say I really don't want dreamers posting here who disregard the much that doesn't suit and cherry pick some positvies only, to hang off.. but this BB is full of them imho.. and I just understand that everyone is entitled to post as they see fit, until administrators decide otherwise )
PS: If provoked, i'm very open to coming back here with FULL FORCE on how awful this company performance has been and what an arrogant and deluded man I belive PL has been since he won big back in the day.
Sure they not come 4 ATOME, how work out 10p unless Paraguay comes up trumps
Steven....Who knows as to why Trafigura jumped into the luke-warm waters of President, except maybe Traigura knew about Atome coming before anyone else. Anyway, I think President will have an excellent year.....10p plus by Sept.
Interesting what trafigura take is on ppc now, bought in taking lot of ppc debt away, and there holding has seen no real value added,
Today's announcement makes me feel so glad to be out . So puzzling to read . Lacks clarity. I also think the Paraguay news should have been a seperate RNS. They need to seperate that out to gain traction. I keep on watching to see what happens but not surprised to see the price where it is for now.
A criticism of PPC has been that they do not issue enough RNS, and often we have to guess what the status of something is. On the flip side, if they issue an RNS before they can include full details it's called drip feeding. We all want the to succeed, reading through the RNS this is what I take for Argentina:
It was initially scheduled as a 3 well drilling programme.
DP-2001- was a success, and will be online next week with flow rates expected to be either 250 or 350+ BOPD. Actual flow rates to be confirmed once flow is stable. This is very good news (just not new news as we already knew this)
DP-2003 - need to conduct flow rate tests. Depending on these results the 3rd well DP-2002 might be drilled from the same well pad.
Then, then Company is cautiously optimistic that the Puesto Guardian field well will be the fourth well sequence to this drilling campaign and not the third.
So initially there was to be three shots, PPC scored with the 1st, might have scored with the 2nd shot, and are lining up to take the 3rd and a possible 4th as well. You could argue that much is still unknown, there's not been much progress, or much concrete success, or you could take the view that it's been good so far, and could all work. I know what I hope for, my expectations however are less than that. But hey ho, we've paid our money, let's roll the dice and see....
I would say more a drip feed of news.
Lot waffle mayb time sell up and out, Paraguay H2 my feeling, nothing on lousianna, need some good flow/ productiin rates, is he hiding behind this dribble
comeonvog
In Louisiana, whilst delays in the workover is frustrating to shareholders and management alike, they are all part of working in deep wells and are no-ones fault. The permission from the State to re-complete the well is hoped to be received soon relating to plugging back and perforating a section higher up the hole. Work is expected to commence as expeditiously as possible thereafter and the Company will give an update at or around the end of this month.
And still we wait for production numbers, but it seems we are closer . Still no news on Louisiana which is disappointing.
The new well DP-2001 at the Puesto Guardian, Salta, Argentina, has now been successfully tested with oil to surface from the two expected formation intervals that are also flowing in other parts of the Dos Puntitas field. The well will be placed on stream in approximately one week using the same jet pump as the other wells. Steady state production rates will be advised in due course.
