what if the mafia win how far can we expect the share price to drop ? Personally I think it will drop quite a bit maybe to 28 but it will rise very fast..imho. thoughts ?
First order of business for whoever succeeds needs to be the appointment of auditors and publishing of H1 results.
That must be hard running the meeting knowing the results are against you. So the new board won't preside over that meeting but will immediately take over the reins
I think one does counteract the other, as its reduced debt level, AND reduced interest payments... They needed to be converted sometime, sooner much better than later.
I would suggest they will be announced as quickly as possible after meeting, best place to look is log website, as that is nearly always the first place updated.
I wonder if its related to 'treeshake'.
I believe it meant give them an additional financial reward.
There are just too many moving parts at present, some of which are very positive such as Gold Price, increased output, reduced energy costs, Exchange Rate, and Bond Conversions (irrespective of their dilutive effect). But these are all suppressed by the uncertainty surrounding the Board disruption and the resurrected spotlight being shone on accountancy opaqueness, and I suppose the best outcome would be for the settling of the former to sort out the other. Whichever way you look at it though, I think the general consensus is that there is a good deal of pressure building behind the SP.
What does "a little greenleaf mean"?
This conversion is definitely a benefit to shareholders, as long as they didn’t pay a "little Greenleaf" as mdunshire puts it. Its odd to think that these were issued less than a year ago. Maybe if we get some new blood it will include someone with some financial acumen.
I thought as you suggested it would be off set or even slightly advantageous to the SP as further debt removal is a great thing; however this period before the EGM on Monday changes things a tad
Won't it be announced as item 1 on the agenda Monday morning
Rusty and All, Does anyone know when we will know the outcome of the AGM results ?
Approx £79m of shares should be issued today to cover the last two CB conversions, so would we expect a 6% drop in share price due to dilution, or will that be offset somewhat by the now lower debt level?
