My reply to the original post was in the context of the Holdings RNSs we have been seeing. Clearly that is not a derivative of GS shorting as those RNSs are derived from the change in holdings (which are also reportable https://www.fca.org.uk/markets/ukla/regulatory-disclosures/submit-investor-notification) as those are part of GS's investment bank writing swaps or CFDs. However, this has nothing to do with the .5%+ shorts which needs to be disclosed to FCA and subsequently reported on ShortTracker, as asked by the poster.
This was my interpretation of the original question as otherwise, there is no need to bring up GS and shorting together. As clearly demonstrated in your link, GS (hedging arm of the bank) has not taken out a short position in any company for over 4 years. Hope this clarifies things.

Gioldman aren't reportable short PMO -though they are facilitating shorts on PMO through borrow. Big difference, and that's why we don't see PMO in their short profile linked above, not because "they're an investment bank".
It doesn't matter the nature of entity -reportable is reportable. Further reading: https://www.fca.org.uk/markets/short-selling/notification-and-disclosure-net-short-positions
LeeRex - Goldman Sachs is an investment bank and not a hedge fund so you will not find them explicitly on short tracker. AHL has been marginally reducing for the past two weeks, which means that the trend is decreasing and as such the possibility of a short attack is much lower. Please do some basic research on investment terminology before dropping your hard earned cash in the equity market. Hope this helps.
Please excuse my lack of knowledge.
Checking shorttracker, I can’t see GS on there?? And AHL reduction is marginal. I also see the shorting tracker chart, and lines show a possible “trend” that an attack could be on the cards?? Could anyone give me their thoughts?
Could be paying over 100 to close their shorts
You said !
It doesn't work like that. Outfits take a position at the high end of traded price. Then bets it goes low !
They get out when they want to, and before a rising price hits them ???,
Errrrrr init ?
SK hope this is adding to Wtfigo ?????
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-)
AHL slowly reducing. Good chance that others could be paying over 100 to cover their shorts back? The hedge trade against Brent looks busted for now, drip drip drip as the fundamentals look to finally take this higher
