good evening all. been busy elsewhere today and just catching up a little on oil price etc. i see its still trading under $40.80
7th January and 5th April 2020 I think the statements were issued SK.
My opinion and it is just an opinion is that the market likes the BP purchase and it will do us no harm at all regards the share price.
Will hold this one a bit longer yet.
Glad to see you back in SK, i also topped up a few more
Its a close one to watch now, worries me frankly as TD is not at all the best IR communicator. If he spins it wrong, it will give a sudden whack and i am still wanting to know exactly the mechanics of what he has planned. If he were to simply outline that to allay investors conjecture and fears, this would probably quickly get that priced in and move onwards and upwards. As it is, its susceptable to any weak fart that it might get a whiff of
GLA
Each time this deal makes progress the share price shoots up, that tells me when the deal is completed the share price will increase and not fall.
Yes there will be more Premier shares but more shares in a more valuable company.
I agree with dodger. Whatever why they raise the capital its value added.
equity raise will be minimal and PIs probably wont be invited
As long as the acquisition value adds to the market cap extra shares won't matter.
Market surely must perceive this to be a good deal. If oil rises this will be a different company from the one in January.
More production and same debt.
Can anyone make the case for an equity raise right now, with such a depressed share price and significant dilution at likely 30-35p range?
PMO will have to address the balance sheet at some point but surely not now when the cost of raising equity is so high. Why not take on a little more debt which would be paid back anyway from additional 17k BP production in due course. Even a sale of Zama doesn't look like great business right now and I note in the updated company presentation that on the 2020 priorities (last page) there is no mention of Zama sale. (Is TD still fighting to keep this?).
