Results for this year were always going to be sketchy but 2021 eps expected to be up a lot at 26p and recent acquisations give a presence in the growth market in installation of underfloor heating and ground source heat pumps. Good value here IMHO
I’ve seen this company has there final results Tuesday. Saw there has also been some big trades!!! Last week buys on Friday- 850k, 110k, 110k, multiple of 10k-50k. And over a million more shares bought than sold.
Something I should know?
With PLP expanding it's presence in climate management and water management recently this company looks well set to benefit from an emerging economic recovery this summer.
New acquisition has a 70% market share of residential filter market in the UK and expected to benefit from the governments expensive and seemingly unstoppable route to net zero carbon by 2050.
A good week for PLP , Monday should be good ODEY acquisition. broker rec £6.53
nice move up, already this morning

PLP polypipe........just been reading its last statement.........although scaling down
due to the virus.........
"we have decided to wind down our operations to that which is absolutely necessary to support the Government in its battle with COVID 19 and keep the economy going. These include the following:
· Parts of the Group supporting the National Health Service in very specific roles in increasing capabilities to cope with the inevitable increase in COVID 19 patients. Our Nuaire business is manufacturing ventilation for the Royal Marsden Hospital and is receiving urgent enquiries from many other NHS sites for this as well as other essential projects.
· Our Building Products business has been requested to manufacture special pipe for emergency medical use".
Solid growth on all fronts clearly not enough for inflated and unrealistic expectations of some market pundits.
This is a great business in a niche growth area which should prove to be a sound investment.
This board is very quiet for a share that has a bit of activity in it. Holding for only a year for divi and I reckon some decent growth too.
Any thoughts anyone about recent acquisition and longer term?
Nothing but good new from this very strong Doncaster based company and still the market goes down!
Look what happened this time last year, hope it goes again
Excuse my ignorance but anyone know why several single digit trades all close to the bell today?
Nice to now that I own shares in the company just down the road from me !! Been watching them expand for years!!!
target raised to 490p
growth with this share

This stock is in a great niche with many outlets in growth phases- must be on the radar of bigger fish but well able to power on independently IMO.
its the solid investments that normally have the quieter boards. very little to complain about.
New investor today. Looks solid investment. Any others on here invested as a rather quite board?
certainly is. I am already 17% up on this. And now the share buybacks are rolling in. Good times ahead. Solid company.
At the current discount to the market despite the current powerful growth in all metrics this stock must be getting noticed. Meanwhile shareholders can enjoy the ride whilst trousering increased dividends .
Attended AGM today-trading statement revealed margins and profit motoring ahead and an air of quiet confidence prevailed-clearly going places!
Cavendish Square Partners to sell up to 15,618,766 shares in UK's Polypipe, representing 7.84 pct of capital Explains big decline today hopefully shares will be picked up by others
