Re watching It though,TL has no interest in selling early. They still have 3 years left of the agreement and "we want to stay in as long as we can to see the value build and is not something we want to run away from yet"
I think IAMGOLD probably know what they sitting on at 'Fare'. An RNS in coming week is very much on the cards in my opinion for them to share results from the 10,000 metres.
Speculation at this stage, but also quite possible that IAMGOLD might have offered a low ball offer for buying out Senala outright early instead of going down the 'earn-in' route.
That would come down to negotiating skills of Company CEO to extract fair value for Senala. For starters you can compare MCap of peers like Chessar Resources next door that peaked at A$150m last year. ORR is no way near even Chessar current Mcap ?
Either way 1.15p current price does not even remotely reflect 'Fair Value' for combined upside at both Senala and Cameroon.
Hi Kutzz and all. As MRP rightly pointed out, last year update on Senala/IAMGOLD was on 12 March. So not long to go here. Think we'll see a steady flow of positions being taken and should get a nice rise.
Whilst 10,000m is a lot to get through they would have have been sent to the Lab in batches and as you said Mr P they should have 75% of them back by now if not more.
So they should know what they are or are not sitting on in terms of intervals and grades. Which means they must know by now if they want to RC drill + Diamond Drill? I’d also imagine that IAMGOLD and ORR talk and exchange information? So it’s just a case of letting the market know. Which they may do at the same time. Although a little nugget of an RNS simply stating that they are RC drilling would be a good indication to restore confidence here for those that have lost it.
Who knows. Just spit balling ideas here. We will find out in time but once again I’m bored, I’m speculating and I want a big, juicy and fat RNS and no more of the warrant kind.
Next week or so, we'll get a strong update on Senala our most advanced project, followed up by Bibemi & Wapouze. I think, we'll TL may have an ace or two up his sleeve/s. Gold will push back up in the longer run and will add to value here and increase attractivenss of our project/s. Need to sit tight for now. I can top up more..but holding fire as I'm too heavey, in more ways than one, lol ;()))))))
Yes could be interesting twist here with Cameroon in the frame now also with ORR getting 90% interest in the bag now.
May be IAMGOLD negotiating a deal with ORR for Senala "outright" sale to them and wanting to come into Cameroon also.
Speculation obviously at this stage until we get official notification.
Point (2) by Kutzz also valid, as 10,000 metres is a lot to go through. But by now they should have most if not all the assays back in my view. They could come next week who knows. Last year announcement was 12 March I think. So next week could be very interesting.
Either way, I am sitting firmly here despite being in Red temporarily. That can all change in just a single day. Every day there are small companies on the risers board up by +145% to +200% on less than spectacular news. So why not ORR !!!
Agree with the sentiment. I think point 4 is nailed on but with a twist..Given persistent tweets re: Cameroon, expanding licence base, TL history and knowledge, interestingly IAMGOLD looking at Cameroon in general and what better entry via ORR; already know each other well..Other majors also looking to West Africa. Asutely little old ORR already in pole poistion with FIRST MOVER ADVANTAGE.
2. Mid Jan they expected to finish the 10000m then they get sent to the Lab to get analysed. 2 months? I guess depending if there were backlogs. 10,000m is a chunk to get through. (Most likely)
3. IAMGOLD - are riding that tortoise and are in no rush.
4. I’m typing this through rose tinted glasses with my glass overflowing - they have the assays, are background negotiating talks on Senala and will release all info on drill results, earn in etc, buying it off us for a wedge that we can use to focus aggressively on Cameroon. (That would be ideal although unlikely)
I'm convinced, that IAMGOLD are playing hardball. They do need Senala for Boto. Historical graded over decent lengths have been strong and would it not be unusual for them to be not part of a much larger system? Especially given the size of finds all around us. Chesser continued to demonstrate significant mineralisation in their patch close by. Are there negotiations going on in the background? However, we should really be updated either way in accordance with regulations..over to you BoD!!
Yeah well said, flushing warrants out like this is not helping shareholders out. I have sold some today due to this but still holding some. This is one of them shares that can go up massively or down massively so will buy and sell accordingly
I reckon it’s just good old fashioned selling. Everyone looks at the chart and it looks as though it’s a pretty one way street right now so those who don’t have that much skin in the game probably getting out or cutting what they think as their losses short.
That with gold selling off never helps.
Me? I’m happy to hold until we get the assays. That’s why I’m here.
