dont you think this has been a good week so far ?.
A good summation of the final hurdles being worked on by the Govt behind the scenes
https://qz.com/1908599/uk-scientists-want-to-start-the-worlds-first-coronavirus-challenge-trial/
The government must also approve the effort itself. Before the challenge trial can go ahead, it will need a green light from both the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and an independent research ethics committee.
First mention was the Financial Times Passer
I agree Aquae, it is the way this government do things. A leak is just their style. However the first mention I saw was in the Irish times, not sure if that was significant though. I don't think that it was the company, they wouldn't want that, and to have to put out the rns, rather embarrassing.
Has anyone stopped to consider who actually leaked the news and why? Whether it was initiated by a Govt source, 1 day sooner or within oo, the net result has been to give the proposed trial using a full blown covid19 virus international news coverage and so test the water regarding public, professional medical and political opinion in advance of a formal announcement. And guess what, there has been no huge outcry from anyone and a lot of high profile support. Formal announcement next week and sp will then respond accordingly
Completely agree. Limited statement (and no more) had to be made because of the share price movement, simple as. As and when contract signed I'm sure we will hear a lot more - frankly what has been in the press speaks for itself.
The share hopefully has a new base 10%-20% up on where it has been recently trading until further definitive news. Only thing that matters is OO is building a profitable, sustainable business one block at a time.
As far as they go he couldn’t have said anymore!! The deal will be done next week simple!
Why do you think he never did a podcast after this weeks contract RNS because the real deal is that close he sees no point doing one this week then another in a few days!
I think we’ll get interims 1st and then the big one!

This has done over 200% and people ****ging CF is laughable he’s told you what he’s doing and delivered every time!!
He’s telling you there is going to be a bidding war for data for wearables...
He’s telling you that immutex will be sold or listed with cash going to special divi....
He’s already told us these covid contracts will be approx £8m each with 2 being run at the same time...
He told us we’ll be cash positive and we are!
He’s told us he will never have to do another fundraise....
He told us we’ll have an RSV contract every month and we have!
