Totally agree.
He's spinning it out to award it a monetary value. Job done. Focus on the core business.
Imutex is not a golden goose yet, just a promising egg. ORPH are not a drug development company, don't have the resources to be so, and have multiple other businesses. Also, there is no guarantee that the Imutex assets will work, so retaining control of them until the end is an all-or-nothing gamble which may not be the most sensible or lucrative strategy. To some extent it is of minor importance whether they sell it, license it, or float it, the important thing is just to monetise it in some way, and I believe CF has a strong grasp of the realities of this.
Well if Trevor had half the negotiating skills of CF it would have been monetised 2 years ago...When CF bought Hvivo, he didn't apparently even know about Imutex as it was sat in the back of "the cupboard"...he certainly did grab bargain of the Century from Hvivo shareholders., I assume Trevor thought selling out would make his position more secure maybe? Well look how that ended up? Woodford and Invesco poured tens of millions into the company only to see it being given away due to ridiculously poor management.....CF must be laughing at his good fortune...lets hope he makes us all a little richer..!! AIMHO so ADYOR..!!!
I had a chance to top up at 8am @ 14.2 and 14.3. Decided to wait thinking the MMs would push it down to aid shorters. Didn't happen. Ended up paying 15.3 grrrr.
Very well put Magoo.
Why would you want to sell the goose witht the golden egg ?
Would it not be easier to put the feelers out for Imutex to seriously interested parties, possible US or Asian Pharmas (UK/Europe is a waste of time as companies run by a load of old duffers), then just sell it to the highest bidder? Job done!
Thanks, trying to trade and read charts myself and agreed, set up looks very strong. Managed to buy some more at 15.30 today.
Fair enough, Rudey.
By distressed, I was thinking more along the lines of companies such as hVivo.
But, I have no experties or knowledge of such things so, I was only guessing.
Cheers.
Mine was on the 5min chart. Agreed, on the 1hr it is indeed.
Either way. Regardless of any chart we are on the up.
With lots of good stuff heading our way.
Hard to see any downside , ATM. :)
Ciderman, I'm not sure it would be a distressed company CF would be looking for, but one with plenty of cash and no assets or assets that would be useful for Imutex..
On my charts the 50 ma is well above the 200 ma?
Could this time be the charm.
FWIW, My chart is indicating that we may have had a Golden Cross this morning.
Last few times we have had the 50ma moving up throught the 200ma there has been a good ralley.
For anyone interested.
