Btw, I just realised we're on the OPTI bb, should be over at the SBTX bb.
Apols to OPTI only followers.
Thanks Aqua. It looks as though the trial was done in conjunction with pharmacology. No sign of an actual product yet though.
Perhaps he means this Direcons?

Letitrun, could you point me to the other probiotic products please. Can't find anything on clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?recrs=&cond=Psoriasis. Tia.

The India Launch

skid, there are clues in some of the RNS's; for instance 28th Sep 2020 "Exclusive distribution agreement with United Italian Trading Corporation (Pte) Ltd for SlimBiome® Medical in Singapore. Exclusivity is subject to UITC placing a first order of SlimBiome® Medical by the end of November 2020 for a minimum quantity of 3,000 boxes and increasing annual sales targets."
06th Oct 2020 "Exclusive distribution agreement with United Italian Trading Corporation (Pte) Ltd for CholBiomeX3 in Singapore. UITC has agreed to place an order for 5,000 boxes of CholBiomeX3 for delivery by the end of 2020 and increasing annual minimum order quantities to retain exclusivity."
In Singapore In 2019, there were only 67 public pharmacies and 189 private pharmacies, whilst we know a deal is imminent for sales of first generation products with larger partners in key strategic markets like India, the USA, and China. In India alone there are 550,000 pharmacies so do he sums on that
Belgrano whilst your correct the AxisBiotix via a subscription route has good potential to grow quickly It is naive to think it’s going to be easy. To grow B2C channel fast requires a lot of investment & is high risk. It is an extremely competitive market & SBTX don’t have the firepower to compete directly with the major players on marketing. They will not be able to make any health claims and the data they will refer to is a consumer study where half the people dropped out when it was given to them for free. There are other psoriasis probiotic products on the market with actual clinical data which I’m sure you are aware of. It’s not going to be ‘easy’ in reality. Opti recognised the investment & risks of this channel using it instead as a shop window leading to some great B2B launches visibly now growing through big partners. I also think both company’s will do well but I think many holders buying SBTX at current prices have not learned the lesson of Opti and buying a very pricey stock with no sales data or products. I made some good money out of Opti in early days and recently back in after a long while watching. The expectations at SBTX are far higher than it ever was at Opti. They are selling a food supplement and not a drug and in my view it will be almost impossible for them to deliver on the expectations to sustain its lofty price. All imo & good luck
Aqua.
Agree H1 results will be very informative. I hope growth continues at a decent lick.
I would like to see some more analytics on existing contracts.
- How many are revenue earning, and how may contribute more than £10k, £25k et c per quarterdo
- What proportion of revenue are too 10, 20, customers
- What is the average time from contract signing to get to revenue
- How does revenue growth through contract life
On SOH most of his recent interviews are very repetitive with little financial detail given away. I think he is being conservative as he realises the time taken to get deals to deal revenue, and the fact that much of this is completely outside his direct control.
You're talking to someone who nearly got wiped out by Sirius Minerals, NMC Health, Versarien and Hurricane Energy before learning valuable lessons and recouping losses and I most certainly do not put SOH in that camp although he is a little on the over cautious side; let's see what the H1 2021 results bring eh
Hi Aquae,
For me I look at my stocks and think to myself...could the money work harder for me, even if it is offloading at a loss and investing elsewhere. Never love your stock and I've been guilty of it before now. Having stock tied up for xxx years in my books is a loss of 5% per year, as I could get that with a safe utility right now. So I trust the CEO's and what reports I can find.
However when it then fails to materialise as much as hoped (or not even close), I do question closely my decisions. I've been miss led by a CEO with another stock in the past , and lost the value of a decent house on it, so very wary when i see that lesson potentially repeated. I believe OPTI holders like myself from this position stand to do very well, however make no mistake if I see a better opportunity opening up, I will move for it, even if it costs me short term book losses (which can be offset).
Currently doing very well indeed, however believe it is this policy that has achieved it, because if I hadn't moved on gut feel, I certainly would have been deep in the red now. Don't always call it right, but getting better than I used to be.
Very best regards to the holders here.
Belgrano, "Still holding a decent core holding here and will probably hold them" which is definitely a more positive slant than your supporting post in response to the serial de-ramper/ramper Phat where you offer "However still got a substantial holding which may soon be pulled as well. Strange thing is opti stock part may soon be worth nothing, but its sbtx holding comprising all the value here."
Like you I hold substantial interests in both Opti and Skin, unlike you I have bought my Opti holding in several recent tranches but none-the-less show a paper loss, whilst my Skin holding is longer held and circa 150% in profit. Of the two, by far the biggest risk at the current share price is Skin because it is a fact that they have no revenue currently and maintenance of the current price is solely dependent on Stuart's initial supply constrained 25000 sign-up projection for Axis, which in his most recent podcast with elric he did not re-state, preferring instead to say that he needed to wait for the expression of interest on the website (rather than quote a hard number), and of course the beauty parade for skinbiotix.
Opti on the other hand despite moving towards profit and with big news pending re Sweebiotix launch, major rollout of products into Pharmas and hospitals (900,000 quoted by SOH) along with the second generation products has a rock bottom sp with little risk and huge upside, so why would anyone even hint that they are contemplating selling any Opti holding at a loss/pitiful profit today least of all a wise investor such as yourself?
Hi Letitrun,
I'm lucky as I pulled some OPTI initially just before COVID hit, and have purchased some SBTX stock and some others at bargain prices, so balance sheets show some excellent progress cancelling out my previous losses by listening to SOH and even worse Davidson, about the excellent sales last year, which fell below my market expectations. (like the matchbox seller, who normally sells a box a day, but manages one day to sell three). Come on we are talking about highly rated pros here..Don't try to sell that line, its carp. Buts thats the answer I received to my watered down question last year.
Still holding a decent core holding here and will probably hold them, however am overweight in SBTX currently, but you do correctly point out the significant difference between the two companies in "if sales growth in SBTX not as expected it will fall back". On this I fully agree, but its not a case of "sign the licence and let them do the marketing and selling", in those cases what do you get..in one word... TATA.
Know that already there are thousands on the waiting list there, not talking about an online shop that gets one order every two hrs or about 5 a day. These psorasis forums are highly active with members looking for products to aid them, and thats the fundamental difference, their skin conditions drive em crazy, and little on the market to aid them either, so no surprises that the product will sell like hot cakes, and I hope to be among them as well, as its really effective as studies have shown.
Then throw in forum feedback when the first 25K get treatment, and the rest will go bananas. Wish I was doing the online selling on commission, going to be easy.
As for opti, price already rock bottom and as we know sweet does have good market value and is the safer play.
I can see both doing very well, but do not believe we will see SBTX fall back like OPTI did, as timings are much faster, and product demand terrific. Stuart can see the errors made here and what went wrong. Determined not to repeat them.
Excellent growth. Very pleased with solid performance and fundamentals continue to build in a difficult year for businesses in general.
Belgrano sweetbiotix is the golden goose looking at the market. SBTX was bought on the cheap and has allowed Opti to continue building with minimal dilution. SBTX is being valued as a speculative pharma play at £100m mkt cap. When realisation it’s not, and early sales growth isn’t as expected it will fall back like Opti. Swapping Opti for SBTX at current prices is madness. Opti is a business with sales valued at less than half and SBTX hasn’t sold anything yet. Oh and Opti own 23%…I assume you understand the risks….
Well belgrano perhaps if you do sell-up here and buy more skin Phat might finally meet his weekly 70p ramp target
Indeed, stripping out all SBTX value leaves opti worth 20p per share, and a lot of that value as cash in bank is from previously sold sbtx stock, take that out and would really be left with pennies.
Indeed some schools of thought are perhaps the golden goose was accidently sold on the cheap, leaving the long suffering shareholders who bought up to 130p nothing of huge value, but a decent loss. Little wonder SBTX features so much in the annual figs, should be first and foremost, because the rest is well below what the market expected.
Looking back I'm glad I withdrew a few hundred K in stock. However still got a substantial holding which may soon be pulled as well. Strange thing is opti stock part may soon be worth nothing, but its sbtx holding comprising all the value here.
Very disappointing here, I do feel for the long term holders that have held thick and thin. Not really much growth and very weighted towards Skinbio
