RPdard I can answer that. Basically the original plan was to bring 2 deeper rigs in when they moved the shorter ones to the north. One deep rig was earmarked for Apta and one for the north at undecided location but both these are now in North along with the shorter ones. They changed plan and did not drill deeper at Apta. Last RNS says an extra rig has also been brought to north. My theory is that they can strike Apta deeper at anytime, it's proven to a degree, the deep copper, zinc etc is not going anywhere. The north had positive sampling in which they added these two new areas afterwards....They have had the shorter rigs up north since April and the deeper ones probably around mid may potentially...so either the shorter ones have been throwing up some decent results or they are making a fair stab in other areas pepas and pupino before making a decision on phase 2. I think they like what they are finding up there but that's my opinion only plus Brad in interviews has said sampling was good up there (only his word to go on)...Orosur seem to be quite out the loop with works and Agnico are leading the charge. I suppose we have trust that the best in world at this type of deposit know what they are doing. Bit frustrating when our share price is lagging however.
Chicken- I agree. Its a positive news to see they've started drilling Pepas and Pupino before the Phase 2 news.
Here's what Tim sent me yesterday-
Orosur has released assay results from the final five additional holes drilled at the APTA prospect. Much as expected, MAP-101 to 105 reflect lower levels of gold anomalism compared to previously drilled holes, but do show some high-grade base metal results, similar to intersections from previous drilling, adding further support to the theory that the mineralisation being uncovered forms part of a hybrid volcanogenic massive sulphide (‘VMS’)/intermediate-sulfidation epithermal ore system. This last batch of holes were largely focused on resolving stratigraphic and structural issues at APTA, while waiting for permitting and access to be developed at the highly prospective northern prospects of Pepas and Pupino where several anomalous targets, identified through surface mapping and sampling, geophysics and geochemistry, will be tested. Four rigs are planned to operate, with two each at Pepas (which have already commenced drilling) and Pupino (where the first has already taken initial samples with a second being mobilised to site). Core from the first hole at Pupino has been submitted to the laboratory for assay and results are expected in July. Given that these will be the very first results from the remaining untested 20km of strike of the Aragon Fault, Orosur’s Board awaits them with some anticipation.

Scipio,
As far as I know, it won't be available online or recorded.

Do you? Because I don't
Clearly the RNS's from today and yesterday have been issued strategically by OMI. Today's RNS is positive and good for Brad going into today's meeting. This will be good for new investors to see some positives finally. I guess it may appease some existing shareholders though we have been through the mill for some time now. With drilling news due in July, i would expect the sp to liven up much more now
All you need to understand from today's RNS is "the results are highly encouraging in both scale and composition"
Good news from Argentina. Although early doors seems like there is a bit of potential. Market over reacted yesterday regarding the holes. The main news was that drilling is underway at both pepas and pupino. Apta has been parked though clearly still has potential deeper but majors know that and can revisit at anytime. You have to remember that pepas and pupino were added after encouraging sampling and now they are scouting these areas with drills. This is a big positive. It's apparently a tough place to drill with rugged terrain and difficulty in access. Can't imagine they would bother unless they were shown quite a bit of encouragement.
Encouraging wording in today's RNS.
Does seem to be a situation where he wanted to get the 'bad' news out of the way yesterday before sharing this good news, as some suggested yesterday.
@bhargav / anyone knowledgeable, do you know of there is any way I can attend tonight's event remotely? I've read the RNS and couldn't find a registration link for an online presentation - only an email address to confirm I'd be there in person, but as I have a job and live 300 miles away, it'll be difficult to make it tonight...
I suppose, that's all sensitive info out before tonight's event-
Brad, could you please release directors purchase news reflecting each of you have added 500k shares (?).
