Now 0.185 to buy on Barclays. Wonder if they'll be another Friday surge tomorrow? Atb.
Yes Steven. Life's a gamble. There's a series of stories by Damon Runyon on which the musical Guys and Dolls is based. One character remarks "I sometimes feel that all of life is 6 to 4 against". Can relate to that. Atb.
Hope so Gordon I can’t cope with a third personal bankruptcy! Lol
Let's hope we get the big news soon. Can't be much longer surely. Atb.
Well nice to have a small bit of positive news !
Bit of an unexpected present that one.

I have looked Callum. I think you are right but as I said on the face of it the deal doesn't add up. We hold about 1.5% of Armour, which they said they would sell for cash flow. Atb
We are currently still holding 19,500,000 million shares in Armour , so we are in a good position...imo
Anyway give oilex a foothold in anew company .
Not a bad deal.
I guess

I could be interpreting this wrong but I see the in specie distribution of share in McArthur to existing shareholders of AJQ where AJQ is retaining 33% of McArthurs assets as AJQ shareholders receiving shares in McArthur free for nothing as well as being given preference to buy shares in the IPO. Am I correct or completely off the planet?

There's a big thread there but essentially we get free shares and Divi and enrolments .
I think ?
Not sure
Have a look Gordon?
Something doesn't add up with this deal.
"IPO AND CAPITAL RAISE OF $60-$65 MILLION FOR MCARTHUR OIL & GAS PROPOSED TO FUND ACQUISITION OF NORTHERN BASIN OIL & GAS ASSETS FROM ARMOUR
PROPOSED TOTAL CONSIDERATION OF $40 MILLION CASH PLUS A MINIMUM OF 33.3% RETAINED INTEREST BY ARMOUR SHAREHOLDERS IN MCARTHUR OIL & GAS"
And yet the entire market cap of Armour is only 45 million ausd.
Presumably this demerger of Armours Northern Basin assets for 60 million aus dollars must include the licences bought from Oilex for a relatively small sum. I guess Armour's sale must include other licenses they already had? Hmmm.
Hard to tell Callum, with talk of demergers, raisings etc. Oilex's remaining shares are worth just under £400k.atb.
Armour is splitting into two companies with shareholders getting some sort of Divi I think
Not sure
But wonder if oex benefit as shareholders
