Sounds fantastic Callum. Atb.
Just on a 10 mile walk on trans Pennine way stopped off at lovely pub called the Scoth Piper with the wife and border terrier (not to be mixed up.)
Anyone knows me know how much I love hospitality in th UK .
Any way I digress ,feel good about the direction Oilexs taking under Roland .
Its a marathon not a race

some great pub lunches
Yes Espen. Cornwall was great. Had done great pub lunches. Great scenery, decent weather and able to chill out with few people in sight. That was until we went into Padstow to buy a couple of souvenirs for friends. Nightmare, with thousands of people in sight. Made a quick getaway and spent the afternoon sitting in the sun on a cliff top. Atb.
Yes Callum. That is a departure. Joe's plan was for two vertical wells and then depending on the success, add the horizontal element.
I wonder how ongc will feel if Oilex are successful, given that they abandoned there own multi billion fracking project due to the difficulties with the geology. Atb.
"The stock market can be a curmudgeonly place even at the best of times, not wishing to fully value companies, even when it might be fully deserved It OEX shares are finally on their way to a re-rating, despite the rather stuck in the mud attitude of investors"

Hope it's schlumberger. There best IMO
Hi Gordon, hope the standard of the scones (and the jam and clotted cream) are as delicious as when I was down Cornwall way some years back. Yes, I agree. Surely plenty of players out there, perhaps even from my home land, who knows. Just came across the article and read about the potential reserves, so clearly they’re out to win new business.
Let’s see, I’m in no rush. Let’s however see what “soon” will equate to, in reference to Latest RNS. Atb
Hi Espen. Guess there are any number of candidates. Would still like to know the reason behind the subbing out. Can't be cost, as whoever does it will hope to make profit out of it. Can't be time as we are talking nine months hence. Can't be expertise as Oilex (hopefully) have acquired that and nobody has successfully fracked this type of geology before. Interesting. Atb.
Halliburton?

Thanks Aaron. Interesting. That could make more sense. Atb.
OEX get a a lot of the share impact from ASX market, the fact that the news are not out down under it's a big plus here. Believe that the price was not higher in expectation of what will happen overnight. Then will be adjusted accordingly in the morning here as happen in the past.
There no doubt that it's a big step forward for the company and just a matter of time to start moving up from here.
Good luck to all holders.
Wrt the third party drilling it could be subbed out to a firm like innova drilling whom Roland is a director of and they are well versed in the type of drilling they want to implement. Just a thought
JR. Don't see any reason why it would rise next week, in the absence of any further news. Past recent history tells us that the sp tends to peak in one to two hours after an rns. Especially when, as on this occasion, it sinks in that the rns is telling us little that is new, plus further delays on the new Wells. The one thing that might give another boost is if Roland did what Joe did on April 6th, and give an upbeat interview. Thus could give a second bite of the cherry. I would expect the asx market tonight to simply rise to match our price.
One thing I would really like the answer to, is the thinking behind subbing the management of the new wells to a third party. On the face of it, this would seem more costly. All I can think of is they think it will be quicker than recruiting new staff, but then again they have nine months if not drilling until h2 next year. Thoughts anyone. Gla.
Yes, the multiple pence predictions short term are unlikely, for that to occur there would have to be further news very soon that is, as, if not more transformational than Fridays update. 1p + possible if buying pressure continues to be as strong as Friday but will also depend on how the AUS market responds over the next few trading sessions
Why is Twatter full of ill informed idiots? Lol.
"A new direction for @Oilexltd certainly caught the market by surprise with a huge surge in the Share Price before profit taking took place. Just what price will #OEX be Monday Morning with so much interest now pumping has begun from Cambay Field off India."
