“April is where Colin has alluded to us producing now 2m per week- let’s hope we get some great news this week after his well deserved holiday”
Omega stated they would be “delivering” 2M tests per week in april, we wait to see if they were telling the truth, or actually ramping the price for the directors to get a good price,
We are still on a winner as Ltrs will be here for years but we need orders and margins .Much to be done yet but still very hopeful of a good outcome.
The contract is to purchase Innova SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Qualitative test kits for self-test use. DHSC is the legal manufacturer of these devices and holds an Exceptional Use Authorisation for self-test from the MHRA, making these the only products currently authorised for use as a Covid-19 self-test kit in the UK. The products are NHS branded and come in packs of 7s
So the uk sovereign test will also need exceptional use authorisation.
No wonder it’s taking so long
I received my pack of tests through the post this morning and have already reported a negative test online as required. Do your bit - get tested.
We know care homes and their visitors are testing, schools and parents are testing, workplaces are also testing, there is not a huge gap the unemployed, and the retired. So loads of tests required. When venues open and sport entertainment start it will grow.
I think there's a mixed bag of interest in self testing. I know many friends have ordered theirs, even without me asking them to. :-)
I do think it will pick up more when entry to places stipulates proof though.
I think there's also been a slow news weekend on the Covid front, rightly so, due to Duke passing (RIP), so no real promotion of it on that front. I think that will pick up again through the course of next week.
I still see huge potential for Omega, still think April is the start off good things to come.
BigJock - I know...I meant to say the 9th April in the post...if you look at tender in the link you’ll see it’s the same tender...btw this is where bidstats gets it’s info from...

Eazy- there’s a 1bn contract awarded to innova on the 9th April (Friday) on bid stats
Positive as always I see
Quite worrying as there has been no interest from the public in picking up the free innova Lfts. We have 100ks here and giving out at best 20 per day We need the demand to come from events and locations.
BigJock - I don’t if you’re aware but whilst the £1.2bn contract for Innova was published yesterday, it was concluded on 13/3, nearly a month ago see section V 2.1 in link below...

Firstly, I would like to say I don’t wish on anybody to sustain a loss like ncyt shareholders did on Friday- it’s a sad sight to see but what I will say is any of there shareholders who for months slated omega got their just deserts.
There seems to be a lot of trolls on social media this weekend. Albeit innova have obtained another 1bn contract, this shows the volume of demand which the government are building for over the next period of time and for me cements what I already believed, that the govt will fully utilise the £374m contract- could you believe the reaction if the government decided to prefer a Chinese test, to a hand picked Government test.
PCR most certainly has a place, but LFT is where the government is really focusing their resources to help open up the Economy.
April is where Colin has alluded to us producing now 2m per week- let’s hope we get some great news this week after his well deserved holiday.
