Jock - i agree in part with your post
however just as you state Captain$ and myself quote the same rhetoric, one suspects you are not quite so blinkered as to see the hypocrisy in your statement, as whenever these comments are made you rush to the same boring defence, rhetoric if you will.
where is the substance old fella?
where are the orders?
hence it takes me back to my rose tinted statement, you "believe" , hence you are a supporter at this time as there is nothing on which to base an investment decision , other than the PROSPECT of approval thus facilitating orders !! we have no concrete evidence of anything thus far, therefore without substance it is speculative !!
it was speculative in April and still remains so, due to ........ the lack of orders !!!
i trust this clarifies , ive told you a few home truths , which you have needed for a while, but i have attempted not to resort to offensive language or name calling.
get your own rhetoric and boring replies resolved before resorting to attempts to call out others !!
i trust you understand !!
end of !!
A bit condescending there
agree with blu - well played disciple. Always good to see someone winning on AIM. Hopefully all the lth will have their patience eventually rewarded here
fair play to you disciple13
you would seem to be one of the lucky few to whom murphy's law does not to apply.
best of luck to you.
Well, I'll be honest. I've traded this stock for months. Other opportunities..... hell yes, MOS just for starters, won't mention others as I don't want to ramp other companies, but while Colin has been reactive and not proactive I slipped off and made real money elsewhere and then slipped back in here between 45.6p to 51p. Thanks Colin. He may get approvals one day!! Not holding my breath anymore.
Sorry guys I know you'll be pointing sawn offs at me right now, but those are just my facts.
Then why don't you and all the other so called disgruntled investors just keep quiet and stop posting negative posts and see what may happen.
CORRECT Captain$ !!
murphy's law states if it can happen it will.
i know the day after i've sold that two RNS's will appear, one for approval and one for the mother of all orders from the US sending the stock to the moon and me to beachy head ;)
Captain - I'm in exactly the same boat......
blu - i hear you mate. There has been a number of times when i have said to myself - just sell the !0% rise and buy back in next week when it does its usual drop with a tidy profit. The trouble is by murphy's law I know that the one time I do it will be the time colin "can't sell a test in a pandemic" actually gets an approval through! very frustrating
Blu - in part I agree with your post but I must say its extremely wrong to state:-
"many trading opportunities have passed me by whilst waiting for this sh5t fest to reach fruition. i do hold a fair few !!"
Who is to say that these so called "trading opportunities" might have worked out far far worse you only need to look at GDR. Yes in hindsight, it's taken a lot longer than anybody envisaged but you seem to STILL constantly quote the same boring rhetoric alongside Captainswag who loves the old "Colin cant sell a test".
Why didnt you simply sell out and carry out these "trading opportunities" if you were so sure of them.
Omega have restructured its building and secured HMG machinery. On the face of it. Covid is getting worse and testing will be a critical component to suppressing the virus for quite some time.
Your constant droning which I see as bashing is extremely counter productive and in reality extremely immature.
We hold STILL at our own choice because we anticipate approvals are forthcoming along with orders.
Ends...
@blubutton.I need to keep recycing the message to make sure ALL your personalities absorb it.You're playing games,so hopefully you'll find a new board to play on soon.
its ok to keep recycling this wadogara, but we need substance to back up, the speculation..
all we have at this moment in time is a non enforceable contract , thats states up to £374m, the government are not obliged to order jack schmitt from this !!
we are still awaiting the revenue event, 7 months after we were advised "coming soon"
the above , to my mind, is , sadly, where we, as long term holders, find ourselves. i sincerely wish it were different , many trading opportunities have passed me by whilst waiting for this sh5t fest to reach fruition. i do hold a fair few !!
as i said this morning, 8 business days for October to be the new April !!!!
TWatcher, their use of past tense was because they were refering to how they felt on the 7th June. There is no reason to suggest they don't have other (and additional) contracts...
"We're supporting @GOVUK with cassetting and pouching services for other #COVID19 antigen lateral flow tests being deployed in the UK"
Jimi, Ah, the gov PR, thanks, wasn't sure what you were referring to.
Unfortunately ODX tweeted the following day that "AS announced on june 7th, we were delighted to provide DHSC with cassetting..." (can be confirmed by looking at ODX twitter account for a 23rd Sept tweet).
When queried about the past tense by someone on here, Walbrook apparently responded to confirm that the use of the past tense was correct and that that contract was finished. I can't recall who mentioned it, but if you doubt it, you can easily confirm it yourself by contacting walbrook.
"Surescreen has the capacity to produce 7 million tests weekly,an output that it plans to double by the end of 2021"
Double,.to 14 million per week..in the next 10 weeks..and some on here are querying LFD useage rates ? Who do we think knows more about the diagnostic market and what lies ahead...This bunch of clowns :
ComputerRoom101 / HarveySheitel /T ittyWatcher / Thinkless /ExtinctGary.........or
Surescreen/ODX/ Mologic/Bill Gates/ NCYT/ ABDX / Vatic/ Rest of the World ?..you decide.
The article above... https://www.gov.uk/government/news/first-uk-manufactured-rapid-tests-deployed-across-england
And this more recent one from 5th October... https://www.kirkhamyoung.co.uk/first-uk-made-lateral-flow-tests-rolled-out-to-english-universities/
Point to the article ?
They are according to that 22nd September article, I doubt anything has changed there in 3 weeks.
"Is Omega still cassetting for surescreen or not. I've heard both yes and no from posters but nobody has provided conclusive proof."
Some posters said yes, some said no. No point in listening to any posters unless they can point to a source of the information.
Some also indicated that Walbrook said no. Given they should be placed to know, and are easily contactable, I suggest you ask them.
Is Omega still cassetting for surescreen or not. I've heard both yes and no from posters but nobody has provided conclusive proof.
Let's just hope they don't cut their fingers on the packaging and cassetting! We don't want our part of the assembly to come a cropper!

Just a useful reminder about surescreen/omega relationship.
It’s difficult to find any decent info on here with the constant bickering so felt it would be useful to attach again
Hi all,
After many months of our local school handing out Innova tests to my children, today my daughter received and brought home SureScreen tests. Hoping this is a sign
Cheers
