What else was going to happen with no one allowed to the pub for so long? I agree that all businesses need some sort of re-opening strategy. Something like a 3 drink policy might have been beneficial here. Myself, I like a drink but haven't been out since the easing of the lock-down. I don't think it is worth the risk.
The problem you have in this world is that people Totally demand their right. This causes issues because somewhere along the line the rights you demand walks over the rights others demand. This then causes problems.
I live by a simple rule founded on a principle of a saying we use regularly today which actually comes from the Bible - “The Golden Rule”,’ - treat others as you would want others to treat you.
If everyone did that what a wonderful world we would live in. People seem to live by the rule take off others before they can take off you. At least #odx tries to some degree to protect good people from selfish people. Let’s hope this share will rise rapidly because it will mean that production and orders are in full flow.
ATB to shareholders. I know we are in it to make money but at least we are invested in a company to help people especially the vulnerable. Have a good week
Well said .The ignorance of these animals is off the scale .There is little or no respect for anything anymore Its called " liberalism " .Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law " .
Been saying it for years, thought everyone else had just noticed.
All too predictable really.
Bournemouth beach wasn't full of drunk people, yet they still went....
Totally agree, but it's just the same in the USA and no doubt other countries. It's like the whole world is full of morons trying to spoil it for the rest of us. On the plus side more cases = more tests required.
Within a 30 mile radius of where I reside, Saturday the pubs re opened and what happened?
My local pub had strict policies on social distancing, one way routes and a strict sitting policy. Everyone adhered to the rules.
Within 2 hours a pub 2 miles away was closed down by police for a mass gathering.
Within 3 hours a whole street of pubs were closed by police and licencing officers in Sheffield City Centre due to idiots.
Later that evening Mansfield ordered all pubs to close, and looking on TV London was an infection waiting to happen with the pubs and trains rammed. What is wrong with British people? We have possibly just undone 15 weeks worth of good work in 2 days.
2nd lockdown very soon IMO, but hope not. My wife opened the same day (Barbers shop) cleaning her tools, chair etc between customers only for them then to goto the pubs and tear up the rules. LOCK the pubs back down now IMO has it has been proven Brits cannot behave (Not all but too many) when in drink.
