" I think the rest of it could have been worded better and could have been an opportunity to install some confidence"
Than you.
Perhaps after the main statement he could have used the ambiguity he is using to address different matters.
Inept media
Hopefully a lesson learnt to never apply stop losses on AIM. MMs can see them and will drop the price to catch them when they can. The RNS provided the excuse to do so. On AIM stop losses just become losses.
DubleD this is pretty standard wording, if you look at some other examples of similar RNS on other companies.
What it really is saying is they don't know of any leaks, it isn't saying there are no material developments expecting to be delivered. I think the rest of it could have been worded better and could have been an opportunity to install some confidence.
The expectation of design freeze, production etc is all public info. Fact is they could have received a call from someone in the consortium informing them design freeze is achieved 2 seconds after this RNS and it would still have been valid at the time. Although i would argue that the upscaling of the production facility is material news and perhaps should have been in an RNS, but i guess it's contingent on the design and the orders so thats probably why. We can all see from the clues that this is as good as over the line IMO.
“we know of no material reason for price increase”.
That’s a fair point DubleD re the “we know of no reason etc”
Perhaps it was part of the ahem ‘instruction’ by the AIM regulatory. I have no reason to disbelieve CK. He’s a straight guy imo.
It is very odd though. Something really stinks about it to me. Both the insistence of AIM that they should RNS. Why???
And then the disgraceful 30p/33% drop in SP. Did that RNS warrant that kind of drop? No of course it bloody didn’t. And they did it in the blink of an eye. Virtually a whole days heavy buying of the stock almost wiped out at a stroke. And you can see from today it has, at least for the moment, killed the momentum we had. Like I said this absolutely stinks to high heaven. I am tempted to take this further and not to let these snakes off the hook.
If all this is true. And it was the regulatory who made them issue the statement. Why start of with the “we know of no material reason for price increase”. Why not just issue the correction re the 50million. It’s Either BS. Or we are missing part of the story.
Being the first comment of mine forgot to add his response of course, forgive me!
