PDMSPiper love reading your posts, very informative indeed.
Appreciate you sharing your calculations for the Mologic Elisa rev stream.
We know Omega are increasing capacity based on their reply sent on twitter and have advertised job roles for 24/7 shift patterns.
Could you please work out the range of annual rev from the UK RTC poc test?
Obviously this is all Covid19 rev and doesn't take into account their existing rev streams, but hopefully will give us a better idea of valuation.
The RNS says 46,000 tests per day. The company have already factored in their projected working hours into that daily production figure.
At 300 days per year that’s 13.8million tests per year.
Should be min £5-£10 margin. So £69million to £138million per year clear profit.
Neither figure would be a disappointment.
It may not be a 24/7 operation so those total figures may be a bit high. use a 5 day week minus bank holidays to get a conservative estimate and then you aren't disappointed later on.
Bloody hell. It’s 46k per day. You’re right. The margin on these could well be a tenner. They’re Elisa so far more expensive than the poc tests.
I misread that. Lol.
“Once validated, Omega and Mologic will enter into a longer-term supply agreement with Omega manufacturing up to 46,000 COVID-19 tests per day.”
Is it per day??!!!
Lord above. I thought it was per week.
If they retail at £30 at a conservative 30% margin of £10 per test then that’s £460k per day.
That’s a £167,000,000 per annum!
Are you sure?
It’s 42 or 46k tests per week surely!
It is 46k per day for Mologic
I thought it was up to 46k per day?
Another RNS with confirmation of 42,000 per week being manufactured at 30-60% margin would see this breakout towards £1 from here.
Elisa tests retail for upwards of £30 I believe too, so profit could be £20Mill per annum from that.
Update due and could land anytime. That would cause another breakout similar to we had after the Sky interview.
It shouldn’t take much to get her motoring now.
