Blame nobody especially in this bad economy.
Without Omicron, ODX is struggling. Even though share prices dropped to below 10p still not many want to really invest. New variant is still ongoing, the best time to grab below 30p compared to £1. At least Omicron variant brings back the company to a new life. Look at other companies' share prices already more than 2 years until when to recover are still unanswered. Today I did have some trusty investment friends already accumulate this low price. Buying cheap or average down is wise to wait for the next good RNS, At least ODX share prices can be seen in the bright light now.
Hi all,
First time poster here, wouldn't normally post just curious as to peoples views of CK.
I understand that he is receiving a lot of criticism, and rightly so in my eyes, purely down to the way the company has communicated with shareholders. I feel misled and I am sure other do too, while this may have been unintentional it certainly doesn't help my holding or feelings towards CK and the board.
As far as the running of the business goes over the last 2 years go, how much can they really be criticised? If the Covid opportunity had not come about how would Omega have coped with the last 2 years? Sales of the non Covid products are only just returning to pre-pandemic levels, cashflow would have been very tight. Instead they have managed to scale up the
business and increase size of the premises and manufacturing capabilities.
Covid presented a massive opportunity for Omega, which hasn't entirely gone away as yet. IF the self test approval does land in the coming weeks the potential may be realised, if not, is the company in a healthier position that it was pre-pandemic? Is this enough to justify his position at the helm or is the missed opportunity too much to overlook?
Also, how did the opportunity with UKRTC come about, also the tie up with Mologic, Can CK take any credit for this?
As a shareholder sitting on a large paper loss, the communication and hype on social media is too questionable for me so I would ask him to consider his position, however if I was working for the company and had been since pre-pandemic, I would probably have been quite happy that they have kept the business running and busy through what has been an extremely tough period.
