Nice afternoon gents.....byeeeee
It certainly is poorinvester, but our team are sure its plain sailing as some punter who rides a bike said his symptoms were doable.... you couldnt make this stuff up mate..
Completely agree DrM. Hard hard winter ahead.
Same mistakes equals same results…. This government is absolutely shocking!

Can’t remember who said it’s just a few numbers and everything is fine!

Hello Kainos.
As I said,I was playing devils advocate and gave extremes.
Going back to the your original argument unless you legislate a mandatory vaccine policy, take up can only be improved by better health education, which you allude to in my other examples.
This winter is going to be cruel, the covid infection numbers look bleak even at this early stage, coupled with the population having a reduced immunity to seasonal flu.
But sorry you will not be able to charge non-vaccinated people for a hospital bed,it's better health education, combating crazy social media and people seeing a stark reality.
We'll have to agree to disagree.

I gave you a recc - for opening up debate rather than the mindless drivel here most days :)
1)Do we withdraw treatment for type 2 diabetics for eating or having ate a bad diet and not being active enough.
No - as that's a Health Education issue for the longer term - and irrelevant in Pandemics.
2 Since knowing the harmful effects of cigarettes for close on 50 years do we put an age cap on smokers treatment.
Impossible - again its a longer term issue to do with Health Education - NHS are good at this.
In terms of paying for smokers treatments:
TAX - which Filters (sorry) in to Treasury coffers at an astounding rate from Tobbacco - is massive - which is why tobacco smuggling is now more lucrative than Heroin - ask Fusionboy.
3 That is just silly - but the Law is the Law - and can't be broken on misplaced idealism.
You repair the man - then let the Law sort out a penalty. Its all about looking after each other.
It's called Society.
That's why Dr Gareth Cave gave up time to complete his Anti-Virion layer - to help Society globally.
Unfortunately Trevor Brown and BRH scouted / and conquered - in Hindsight - The Perfect Science.
Fear the money grabbing machinery vs progress
Believe in the TECH - HELP each other.
GL - anyway
F.A.O Kainos.
Just to be devils advocate.
1)Do we withdraw treatment for type 2 diabetics for eating or having ate a bad diet and not being active enough.
2)Since knowing the harmful effects of cigarettes for close on 50 years do we put an age cap on smokers treatment.
3) If involved in a car accident at 1mph over the speed limit,do we withdraw treatment to people who have broken the law.
As I say,I wish everybody (who can) should be vaccinated, but your idea of society is very draconian. It would make my job a lot easier if everyone led a perfect healthy lifestyle.
Hi TLWilliams, very well thank you sir. I completely agree with you, as always. I was just thinking or maybe hoping that we will learn from our mistakes. There is most likely going to be a shortage of ppe again this winter (seen as tough, there will be a shortage of every thing else). Our mask if made in any other country, would of been sold all over the world, unfortunately it is an British innovation and we don’t have the appreciation of our inventions any more. Have a very nice evening sir. :-)
Hello poorinvester. I trust that you and your family are all keeping well.
Many thanks for your reply and thoughts about the Government and its response to the pandemic. I hope that you are right about the potential of our products in the UK. I drew my earlier conclusion from the fact that there UK companies seem to have lost out a great deal on contracts for PPE, and tests to foreign competitors. That was at the start of the pandemic. Hopefully, the situation has improved since then.
Also from my personal investments, one company suffered due to non payment from the DHSC for goods supply due to an issue involving a carpetbagging "legal" company. They had to lay off 80 workers as a result. Another company, which I mentioned earlier, raised funds through issuing additional shares in a placement to fund a Phase III clinical trial. They received no support from our Government.
My faith would be restored if there was news of procurement of Nanosynth masks for DHSC employees and other care workers. That is the least that these hardworking people and their patients deserve. They ought to be supplied with the best possible products to ensure their safety and well being. I cringe to think how many masks of the quality that Nanosynth supply could have been bought by the DHSC instead of the billions of pounds wasted on the hapless and hopelessly run "Test and Trace". initiative?
Sadly the Government trust in their experts, many of whom have a high quality academic background. They may be intelligent people, but their "qualities" have resulted in an underwhelming strategy, with a lot of money wasted on so many occasions.
Nanosynth will need strong leadership to break through the Government's Oxford-led bias, and ensure that our high quality products are properly considered, and hopefully adopted. This is why I believe that our imminent future sales will be overseas. I am hopeful that the company will eventually convince the officials responsible for the procurement of DHSC PSP products to adopt Nanosynth's masks for all our front line workers in what looks like a harsh winter.
I wish you a good afternoon, and a relaxing evening at the end of it

I have tried - but can't think of many in terms of validation of treatment.
If you are offered a vaccination against a sweeping pandemic - but choose not to have it - then - for whatever your personal reasons (past or present) - you have to accept the consequences.
Its called society.
We can all have choices and be respected - but don't then expect full expensive *free care in the NHS - for your perceived values and ridiculous perceived rights - Virus's dont give a damn.
Just Sayin'
Hi TLWilliams, hope you are well sir. I am sadly going to disagree with you for the first time ever. I believe us Brits are going to learn some hard overdue lessons this horrific winter, which will make our products very successful here and all our population will see the value and appreciate the fact that we have to do better, when a pandemic hits or we will suffer more then the rest of the world.
These are some of the lessons we will learn.
1. Never ever allow an idiot to run the country, even if it sounds fun at the time.
2. Never ever allow the idiots friends to take major positions in the cabinet, these are important positions only should be held by competent people.
3. Our media is the most biased, corrupt, incompetent, government mouthpiece of them all.
4. Our grandparents fought for freedoms, rights, democracy, Are we still a democracy?
5. When ever a pandemic hits, copy the Germans or the French if you can’t keep up with the Germans, but never copy the Americans, they are more incompetent then us.
I would continue with the lessons we will learn, however, knowing us Brits, the lessons will be short lived and we will be back to our normal selfs in no time lol. ;-)
Like everyone here, I am concerned about about the escalating numbers of Covid-19 infections and deaths. I received my second vaccination yesterday. I was in Switzerland from December of last year until last August. It was impossible for me to return safely until then. Fortunately, I was able to remain in Switzerland despite the new protocols in place through the post Brexit bipartite treaty between Switzerland and the UK. They could not offer me a vaccination appointment, despite the fact that the country has a large number of objectionable Covid deniers. Strangely, they gave me a free pre-departure PCR test.
Having spent eight months in Geneva, with its citizens obliged to wear masks in supermarkets and other shops, and on public transports, I was scratching my head at the bizarre policy currently in place in the UK. During a recent shopping trip at my local supermarket, I noticed that the vast majority of people were wearing masks, and disinfecting their hands while entering and leaving. There was however roughly 5% of shoppers who were defiantly unmasked. One guy in the latter category was running through the supermarket with a small child on his shoulders, while making childish noises. With total lunatics of this nature in indoor spaces and on public transport, is there any surprise that we are heading back to square one?
Today, one of my other investments, which will be important in preventing serious Covid infections and deaths has moved on to a Phase 3 clinical trial. Sadly, the trial is the US ACTIV-2 trial organised by NIAID. There has been no recognition or assistance from the UK Government for this small UK company. The Government is advised by "specialists" from Oxford University, and I suspect there will be several helpings of humble pie consumed by these so-called "experts" in the not too distant future.
Sadly, the same is true about Nanosynth products. I foresee success overseas, before the value of their products are recognised as being a key component in fighting the winter of severe escalating Covid infections and deaths that lies ahead of us.
Stay safe and keep well everyone.
F.A.O Kainos.
I understand your frustration on non vaccinated folk however I would imagine there would be an aspect of your life (past/present) which could invalidate yourself from certain treatments. - it would be a very slippery slope.
Morning Dr M
I am worried about this Winter sadly it’s not under control re covid.
Can’t see further lockdowns - economy too fragile.
So we’re going to have to get on with it.
Reducing the spreading Covid / variants / flu / cold virus with droplet infection just requires a mask - anti viral is best in class as we know.
Thoughts on hospital admissions - if those admitted with Covid or related problems have been offered a jab but refused (for whatever reason) - make them pay the going private rates for their care?
I sense there would be a big rush to get vaccinated - just need someone in Government to grow a pair

COVID-19: Minister rules out lockdown as PM is warned to enforce 'Plan B' restrictions immediately or risk UK 'stumbling into winter crisis'
fusionboy, have you bought in? you are sounding optimistic. People are thinking that these masks are only about because of the pandemic, let me tell you, masks have been around long before the pandemic and will be around long after this pandemic is over, they have been using masks in hospitals, health settings for decades. Any way good luck mate. Poorinvrster. ;-)
So the only masks we are selling on Amazon are in these countries UK , France and India ?
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/plunged-another-covid-lockdown-yes-180006159.html
"Half of British adults think there will be another Covid lockdown this year, according to a new poll.
The survey, by Savanta ComRes, found that 49 per cent believe there will be further lockdowns, with 74 per cent concerned about another virus wave this winter. Fears are highest amongst those aged over 55, at 78 per cent."

"“You have decreases in cases and deaths when you wear masks, and you have increases in cases and deaths when you have in-person restaurant dining,” Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said in March in response to CDC data showing a link between indoor dining and increased COVID-19 cases."
