Come on somebody must have an idea
Should have been suspended while ago, when there was discrepancies in share ownership, senior managers got sacked, ....Our biggest enemy is confirmation bias.
Now showing 1000! Was there any trade?
Then 1000p now. F knows I thought suspension meant 938p closed!
Can someone explain why the share price is showing 790 at 8.07
Adze, Yes someone with a lack of knowledge. I bit like all those only a couple of weeks ago saying it was massively oversold, predicting huge bounces on a daily basis and rejecting anyone presenting a more conservative view. Where are all these experts now?
“ Shares must surely now be suspended
Today 07:25
“No it cant adzy. Stop it. If they were going to request a suspension theyd of done it by now.”
Oh dear.
Preserve. Because Muddy Waters have experienced individuals whereas most audit work is performed by trainees with no experience and managed by individuals who have only ever worked in audit. I have been a CFO for over 15 years and never known external auditors find anything, my industry experienced internal audit teams have.
Blimey, so much for auditors....how on earth can MW uncover more than auditors with full access to accounts....
Break up value might be ok, but equity value is another thing... nobody can possibly know what that is, if any.
The breakup value has to be significant lets not forget NMC is a major part of the UAE healthcare system inc the very profitable fertility side.
Thats why the vultures are circling .
Who's selling this morning?
I am
We already had tanking 2500 to 800.
No it cant adzy. Stop it. If they were going to request a suspension theyd of done it by now.
Wait till 8am to be sure. If this drops massively during the open it can also be suspended intra-day.
They were never going to suspend. Tesco wasnt suspended after 320 million accounting scandal. We dont have an accounting scandal yet of somewhat until freeh report. Just discrepancies. We just dont know small or large. The creditor financing was just stupid. You cant treat the company as your own but im guessing pressure from shetty made prasanth do it.
The difficulty is assessing whether this news is discounted at around current share price levels. You could argue that there’s NOT much in this news that is unexpected. The FT carried an article over a month back suggesting that NMC had or was trying to arrange off balance sheet debt. One must now presume that most of the Muddy Waters more damning observations are true. The shares are down over 75% from its peak a year ago.Predators are circling and stake building..This is a golden opportunity for asset strippers and this should restrict downside. On the other hand, the group will have to absorb off balance sheet debt which will be presented in reinstated accounts that sheikh will show NMC to to financially overstretched.A fund raising, perhaps involving an equity issue cannot be ruled out in the coming months. There are too many imponderables for anyone to forecast the share price movement in the coming weeks with any certainty but as they crash the price this morning,it’s worth remembering that where there’s ’muck there’s brass’.
Mattcookson/Tinatots still sitting in his mums knickers....as tragic as the NMC story
This seems worse than the whole Tesco mess back in 2014 (maybe that’s just recent recency bias) but just a reminder that Tesco bottomed and started a long drawn out sideway move after it was reported they overstated profits by 50%

Well all those that thought all the bad news was out have been proved hopelessly wrong. Recall one post saying “Governance is sorted”., and me responding that they had no evidence to support that. This has turned out to be a total shambles and one of the worst examples of corporate governance I can recall in my 40 years of investing., particularly in a FTSE 100 business. Now it seems things are so bad, they can not even get their accounts out on time. Just impossible to say what will happen on opening, nothing would surprise me.
Surely they must be suspended before market opening today pending clarification of the cash and debt situation etc? This RNS is quite a revelation and until the independent committee get to the bottom of all this I cannot see how a fair market in these shares can be made.
GLA to those who bought NMC shares.
