And there's the rub. When to get on, stay on or get off the bus. Depends on how comfy you are, I guess. :)
Question I have is, what price will this recover to before the inevitable drop that will come sooner or later. Market is a bit crazy and seems to be a bit of a bubble
Indeed, jazz. But we ain't out of the woods yet. This is unlike any crash before, imo. Except, maybe, that of the Great Depression. This time it's not just a finacial thing. The knock on effect of people forced out of work for who knows how long is an added difference this time. I have lived through just how bad things can be before they get better. Albeit vicariously, through my son that lives and works in China. They were brutal over there with their lockdown and it still took hold and spread. That was mainly down to timing. A perfect **** storm, if you will. This initial happend during the biggest annual movement of people on the planet, Chinese New Year. Miilions of Chinese criss cross the country to go home for the celebrations. And I guess, in and out of the country. You could not write it any better for a blockbuster film. But, they got on top of it in their own draconian way. Prison for curfew dodgers, armed police to restrict movement, stricked temp monitoring before being allowed out. One person per household every two days or so. Jeeze, they even welded up the doors of appartment blocks. Anyhoo, I digress, and things are returning to normal over their.
My point was, before I waffled on, this ain't over yet.
I read this article last night and several others in the same vain.
So be carefull out their.
"...are such sharp rallies a herald of better days.
In 2008, for instance, the two biggest gains during the market crash that fall, both in October 2008, were actually followed by five more months of double-digit declines, data showed."

Average for me is 119p per share, brought some even today at 204p, then again i got lucky with my initial purchase being 74.5p.
and agreed, theres only a matter of hours over a 5-10 year period where the share prices tank like they did, something like this may never happen again for a long time.....
good luck all
More luck than skill, if I'm being honest. I also got into cine @ 23.87 then sold my initial stake @64.65 and was going to leave the rest to ride out the recovery. But caved and bought more here or esl. Got esl @5.8 originaly and built up a reasonable stake there, below current levels.
Live I said , I'm having fun as well.
Carpe diem :)
Yep! Well done sirr. Absolute steal at that price. Sadly when this bottomed I had my sights set on cineworld shares. Managed to get on board the bus at 1.16 ap, not too bad.
I applaud you for getting in at 79p. Well done.
Times or opportunities likes these don't come around very often. To be able to by value companies at knock down prices is a gift, imo. I recall the the crash of 2008/9 when similar happened. At the time I had friend who was into share dealing was making money hand over fist. But he had, " considerably moar munay than me".
I started playing a fantasy share game as I was skint back then and got the bug. Deeply anoyed that I couldn't get in on the action. This time I'm seizing the opportunities as they come and will sit on them for the recovery. However long that may take. I first jumped in here at 79p and kept adding. At some point I may take out my initial stake, may, and leave the rest to recover. Plus I'm having a great time whilst stuck at home.
Sual Goodman. :)
It was massively oversold imo.
People panicked and sold. Share prices dropped far too low and now its evening out. Obviously the prices should have dropped, but not by as much as it did.
Every news story that comes out is positive for travel companies. Keep the shares for 6m-1y and it will be worth double the current prices.
Back to £4 in short order.
Some nice gaps on chart ;)
I guess that that this was over £4 before all this market reset might have something to do with it.
Read the covid update RNS too see how we stand. Money still coming in re contracts.
If you read the last RNS, a lot of the contracts in place are still paying, even if its to a lesser degree, they have plenty of cash to see this virus out, its still a ongoing service due to transporting key workers/infastructure movements.
Basically it was priced earlier atr the 60-70p which is basically insolvency, this is NOT the case.
Compound that with the cost of brent crude, you could argue this should come back higher then what it was pre-virus in a years time.
Bit confused about this share at the moment. With coach travel basically non existent for the near future, and although oil price is low, I don’t understand why this share has such strong momentum at the moment? Any thoughts would be appreciated
