Need to minimise distractions and conquer the main western markets as priority. Pareto principle.
Orlm

Lordfont - before you get your hopes up on the Indian consumer market, there are some challenges. Overseas businesses trying to enter this market often need to do so as a joint venture with an existing Indian entity who maintain a majority stake. Can't see this going down too well on what is already a complex rev share model between artists, venues, managers, labels, promoters etc. Additionally, Facebook have signed content licensing agreements with Saregama this year who are one of India's biggest and oldest music labels.
Not saying it would be impossible, but probably more unattractive due to commercial complexity.

This is the beauty here .
China will not be allowed to camp in our tech , US will not allow it and HK gave us the reason . what will they put on the AP .
more like Chinese artists to set up out side China and Melody sell back to China , long term of course .
Bollywood i say Bollywood all day long , their TECH is awful and this is perfect for Melody Tech , all in my humble opinion of course .
Given;
China's habit of copying successful App's
The USA's ban on the use of certain American IT technologies in China
The UK's not so gentle swerve away from Huawei
Is the China now a no go for Melody ? (maybe it always was)
Does this matter when the most lucrative consumer market in the world (the USA) is wide open to Melody.
