“Napster” is synonymous with streaming with Music, the Far East market has great respect for partnerships and traditions!

i will be shocked if Napster is dropped , its a world known name in 34 countries , imo , why lose that brand ??
On the name, it will be interesting, I don’t believe the name Napster will be dropped, I believe the B2B and MelodyVR App will be “Powered by Napster”! What are the thoughts of everyone on this board?? GLA
In my view, there could be another large shareholder added to the club before the closing of the deal influencing the direction further, Arden’s are currently working hard and carrying out the due diligence. It’s a fantastic opportunity for the industry to take part in a new and progressive platform. GLA
intersting post this morning mel.we know the proposal is to issue approximately 200m mvr shares for $11.3m so thats about 4.3p per share issue value. they do say approximately so could be some adjustments. the documentation is going to be interesting as we will end up with napster as a whole owned subsidiary of mvr. the resulting entity will presumably be a complete transformation from the existing, in terms of shareholder base and no doubt in other ways (as you suggest directors etc). looking forward to seeing the detail.
Regarding placing;
The MelodyVR will need to prepare an investor presentation with the help of Arden Partners its broker, its PR firm which will be used on the roadshow. It is very important that everything in the presentation will appear in the final admission document and that the presentation has been fully verified before it is used. MelodyVR will also be required to have available at the investor roadshow meetings a pathfinder admission document.
Based upon the latest Arden report and the increase in potential revenue it’s hard to see the value of the company receding, the new placing I would expect to advance especially with up and coming announcements, it can be expected that half the new board will be non executive directors from significant shareholders, therefore the board will have significant experience in the direction of the company! Looking forward to the Shareholders Meeting GLA
Hi BadBat, the last time I looked, we had some large investment companies already having stakes in the company, I believe it’s the Ebitda corporate investors are looking for, which I believe the ‘Napster’ Factor should provide along with the new releases.
The closing of the deal will enable the subscription model to work for MelodyVR, alongside driving revenue to our partnerships, this I believe will simulate the SP, the MM’s should recognise the change in the company to create the market for the shares in circulation.

"it has never been taken seriously by the financial press" It won't yet the value of the company is too small. Big investors will only invest in companies exceeding £500+ million. Investors don't care what type of business it is has long has they can make money IMO.

Just seen a marketed MVR ad on the express website advertising Tom Grennan at the Brixton Academy.
RBBe i emailed Moneyweek over two years ago and they almost laughed at me....they are only worried about the old stalwarts like RR, BT, not interested in helping you make money, aswell as HL they never really give advice or tips until the horse has bolted.
Thank you very much RBBe for explaining that the opening price depends on how many are bought and how many are sold
I have nothing but respect for anyone who has ever worked for the times
The opening price is anyone's guess. To state the obvious, what happens next depends on the number bought and the numbers sold.
It is unlikely that any of the regulars on this site will rush to sell but some of those picking up shares at 3.5p in the placing will be short term and in for a quick profit.
Unless they are fans of pop music, very few new individuals will invest having never heard of MVR as it has never been taken seriously by the financial press.
Having, st some time, worked for the Times , I have sent emails to financial journalists and have always had courteous replies but not a word in support has appeared in print.
All believe that this is a niche market and put little value on the library ( borne out by last year's results). None can understand the need to see the performer when listening to music - even less in seeing him/her from different angles.
Those on this site are probably fully invested, therefore, all depends on the big hitters, the fund managers. Their involvement - in tens of millions of shares, would cause the price to rocket. To that end, nearer the time, i intend to e- mail a numbrr of tech fund managers to make them aware of MVR.
It would not surprise me if, shortly after MVR returns, a cosolidation of something like one for a hundred so they will no longer be regarded as a penny stock and be then eligible for seeking to be traded on Nasdaq (unfortunately losing IHT exemption status).
. Any suggestion of being a target for takeover should be rebuffed by those who believe in the management being able to grow the company at an exponential rate in the years ahead instead of being absorbed in a large conglomerate where it would again no longer qualify for IHT exemption.
