Not wanting to be a debby downer but early in the year i did say this was a dog of a stock glad exited and went in to ANIC and RBW. SH and AM need sacking its taken me over 6 months to get back to where my portfolio was two years ago all the headwinds of Coronavirus and this stock drifts lower and drags across the floor.
Not here to rub anyone up the wrong way...but the whole management need sacking, SH AM NL...i lost over 100k in this stock and in over 3mnths due to ARB, RBW to name a few, i am back where I started when i invested in MVR but the annoying thing is i should have saddled up and took my losses earlier- joke of a company couldn't make hay when the sun shone and the whole world was in a lockdown. The more i think about the management the more incensed i get. Even now no one has heard of MVR and everyone uses Spotify. No news from IRelations.
Into this stock now lets see how far it can go.
Cheers All for your understanding my reason to sell tomorrow and I understand Napster has a good future and change is afoot but being in MelodyVR for 4 yrs from 3p to 18p back to 4p et i can see better opportunities elsewhere..when the share gets back into market noise market 10p i may well reinvest good luck all and im sure MVR will pay off. Stay safe Besty
Spent the whole day trailing Napster with my daughter and wow 1 word clunky mess...shes 23 streams music and said compared to Spotify it scores 3/10 half the artists and albums she listens to are missing - take The Weekend very very current not all his music is available, slow to link to other artists. No news on Liam Gallaghers concert, no news on downloads, sorry MVR is a stock dead in the water. Will
sell my remaining holdings tomorrow and into RBW no point fooling yourself that the stock will be worth persevering with.
Cheers Italian...agreed II is expensive.
Hi All
Looking to change from HL as my share trading platform for European, US and UK shares. Had Barclays has anyone used Interactive Investors of IG Markets.
Regards
Much bigger market for VR in those countries than Europe...great great news.
Disagree
I know a business owner who has borrowed millions at preferential rates alot less than were paying and hes a sole trader. I get 5% but 15% appears no lenders or other businesses partners want to take the risk with MVR
Agreed flush out the weak, It needs listing in the US ditch the UK exchanges...its full of rubbish stocks how many are left likes RIO, BLT, DGE etc...not many our FTSE is almost un-investable.
Has anyone seen the price of the loan rates 10%, 15% holy smoly you can borrow of banks for 3% and the share dliution.
Absolutely disgusting.
I cant believe the torrid day. This is a LT investment, thats evident.
News was poorly distributed. We waited months for no news on number of LG tickets sold. Starting to think CINE looks a better buy.
Investor Relations at MVR are appalling.
Totally #isse# off with the way this is all going.
Atrange goings on in my HL account showing 45% loss on MVR holdings...are mm’s getting ready for a reopening?
Mel totally agree..this gig proved the business model has been proved by MVR. My wife who happily paid £300 for two tickets to a concert excluding travel and dinner said if they are all as good as LG she will have a concert at home with friends as she said other artists need to ip their game after this gig.
No names but wish these professional derampers would keep quiet...they cant be private sh and must be working for the institutions....any sign of success and they pop up - how long until their mate the optimist returns.
The ticket clearly said use the web based Chrome App...most people dont read. These are pay viewings and to use Netflix, sky other paid viewing app you need to set up an account and set up a device to watch it on.
MelodyVR now no 6 music app in Apple Music Apps
