Parob I fully expect it be a long way into 5 figures by October 1st.....a long way
Nailed on with rivets.
Re Mexico,
On the 2nd Sept, Mark Epstein stated that subscription numbers are closer to 4000 than 3500.
On the 14th Sept, Mark Epstein stated he can’t wait to share September figures with the market.
The clues are there…
Utilising the QMG content and MOS delivery platform this service is expected to add additional revenue to the MOS business in the first year of some US$140,000 (£100,000) and to grow significantly thereafter.
So initial Company estimates appear to be $140K revenue per year based on approximately 1000 subscriptions. (First month)
Subscriptions increase by 250% to over 3500 which now generates $500K revenue per year.
These numbers for the first 2 months clearly show growth and initial demand, and more importantly, growing revenue.
Hence the increase in Mcap.
For those invested, what we hope for is continued uptake in Mexico which should logically underline the SP at this level or even rerate it further.
And of course the hope for equally impressive uptake in Argentina and Netherlands.
Those not invested will point out figures aren't guaranteed in other territories, or Mexico will tail off, or numbers can't be trusted.
Valid points perhaps.
But with 1 successful launch under their belt, 2 more territories announced, perfect timing regarding Netherlands and their change of laws, I think this is now a very compelling turnaround story, maybe even one of the best on AIM right now.
Thanks Parob, the paragraph below in inverted commas was in the first Mexico RNS and not the second Mexicio RNS, hence I missed it - what you say makes sense.
Don’t forget the revenue share with Quanta on top of subscription payments.
“Revenue is generated for MOS through a mixture of revenue share with Quanta and subscription payments via the current MOS billing contract with Mexican phone network Telcel.”
So 3500 equates to $182K from subscriptions with the remaining $318K coming from revenue share. That’s my interpretation.
Based on this number of subscribers (ie 3500), we estimate that this service in Mexico alone should generate AT LEAST $1.5 million over 3 years in additional revenue for the Company.
RT003 - I am not disagreeing and 10,000 subscribers @$1 per week would generate $520,000 PA
(my point was that last months figure of 3,500 subscribers alone would not generate $500,000 PA as I think suggested by some other posters)
Hepseal don't be remotely surprised if Epstein comes back on October 1st and says subscriber uptake in Mexico has exceeded 10,000 and then some
We only need to go back to his comments a few days ago in the podcast to remember his words "we cant wait to share with you the numbers"
Doubtless as its price sensitive it has to come in an RNS...
The news flow is going to be riveting in a very short period of time.
Only been open in Mexico for 2 months
Not saying that Mexico turnover wont get to $0.5 million PA but based upon known take up of 3500 subscribers turnover would be $182,000 PA (3500 x $1 x 52 weeks)
But live scores are available for free why would somebody want to pay £1 for a week when he can get these for free?
It's $1. People will never cease to amaze you with their spending habits.
After just 2 months take up in Mexico $0.5 million per annum expected turnover. If we can double that in the next 2 months and progress onwards we could be looking at $3million just from Mexico.
Coolio
But can you not find similar apps for free ? I know that because I have similar apps where I can watch live cricket matches. So why would somebody pay £1 per week?

If I can get something for free why would I pay £1 a week? All I have to do is google it. What sort of revenue is mos generating and what profit is it making on that?
Why do people buy in app purchases for virtual coins?
But live scores are available for free why would somebody want to pay £1 for a week when he can get these for free?
thanks for that informative post and link PB'' more of that on here
is a lot better, than a change thread, to please explain'' to suit there agenda
why do we have to explain to every tom dik and harry that come along
because they see a rise to pick our brains, and put us off real conversation
that relate to MOS growth looking ahead , DYOR listen to ZAK latest interview
look at historic RNS don't ask silly question about £1 a head charge to subscriber
because we don't know, yet it's not in public knowledge, what we charge for our service
but we here it's going to be a FKN lot of money''
''ANYWAY''
Netherlands set to become one of Europe's biggest online gaming markets
read the link for yourself, as that's where we are going live on OCT 1st
8 trading days away
and it's all going to kick off on TUE 21st next week, going live to players wanting to sign up''
no wonder people in the know is taking up huge position in this little unknown stock
for the psst few days, getting ready before OCT 1st, because it look like our tech, is the most advance
to make it happen, without glitch, and is going to play a big roll IMO, in the streaming side of it..
I remember when MOS SP was trading at the 15p levels a few years back
on just the prospect of streaming, and we are about 100 times ahead now
where streaming AI remote learning, under COVID 19 have become the norm''
I'm not saying we will see 15p again anytime soon, but 3p by Christmas is quit possible
from where we are, if the announce announce announce on numbers regular
that we hear in his interview, gets implemented,
regular news will make SP move, and have the MM on there toes'' and make it harder
to minuplate going forward
