Thanks Just, I wasnt aware of that tbh
The (wishful) alternative would be to see M& G, Dodge, Causeway ,Blackrock etc increase their position, which in turn would "encourage" the shorts to close/reduce
Technically we are off the chart (2008 not comparable imho) so given the recent decent Rns I cant see why the shorts aren't closing pre update at these numbers. I think they have taken this ride to far, but its difficult to be objective.....
Then I must have a poor grip of the English language, that said I find chances of TO slim:
"When a person or group acquires interests in shares carrying 30% or more of the voting rights of a company, they must make a cash offer to all other shareholders at the highest price paid in the 12 months before the offer was announced (30% of the voting rights of a company is treated by the Code as the level at which effective control is obtained)."

No they dont
Utter rubbish just
While it may be a cheap time to make a move towards 30% ownership and launch takeover bid remember if successful they have to pay higest traded price over the previous 12 months. Which is alot more than today's sp.
Clemoc I understand fundamentals (and have all the data - look at the book value, operating margin etc) which is why I feel MCRO is vulnerbale... we've seen Daimler buy 20% of Aston martin and KAZ been bought out already this week
Pure speculation but there wont be an opportunity to make a move like there is now for a long time to come
Clem-Mark,
don't think any Bid below £11.50 would be successful, would have to be £15 upwards , imo to be in with a chance , nut that could be a long way off, no one will put that kind of cash up at this time of Covid, imo
Maybe, but I would be more than happy with a decent update to say the Company is still making money and paying down Debt, a small Divi would be welcome next year and if we can leave it till then and Micro pays out a divi of near 50p for the year 2021 that be a nice £30K in the bag
GLA LTH they can keep the Divi concentrate on Customers and licence fees
Any chance of a dividend reinstatement? :)
In fairness the shorters have made a killing but at some point they will think enough is enough and start to close, with them shorting 3% and a tiny free float we will notice when it happens and it will be somewhat sudden and sharp turn north. Sentiment is also improving, bankruptcy is pretty much off the table now, debt secure until 2024 and new deals coming though so the next positive update made and we should all be in profit shortly after.
There are not many big MCap companies out there with a realistic chance of multi bagging, this is one of them, they had the trifecta effect of bad business move sinking 1bn, Covid-19 and shorters hitting them. They are 1/10th of what they were not that long ago, they are still working away as Covid19 has resulted in employees by and large carrying on from home.
Opul I agree with your sentiment but Im not sure this is last chance (although I hope it is)..ive average down 4 times now and have a large holding....im nearly £20k down and I started in the 280's...crazy
To buy at All time low, Don't mind if I do,
GLA LTH Bounce Due next week , imo
