It's only money, never forget. Just switch off and put it behind you, everybody has lost here, 2k is probably the lower end to what some people have lost. I suggest treating yourself if you have any money or if you're now struggling financially take a break from investing, don't chase losses and get out this weekend on a hike or something. Hope you're alright.
CDF - if we just hold our nerve I'm sure it will come good. Expecting news very soon, rumours are its very good news for PIs. Come on ASDA, save us and I promise not to shop anywhere else and purchase exclusively from the 'Specially Selected' range.

Any deal will be a pre pack administration deal so buyers get assets they want, takeover leases they want and staff they want and pay an amount to amdministrators for creditors. Shareholders will get zero until all other creditors are paid in full
Just shows how’s bankers are complete melts. Supported them for all this time and then this…..
Today or latest Monday my guess.
Have a good weekend everybody (inc our best mate Neil - lol)
Peace and love to you all.
Feel like killing myself after today. Lost 2k .
Proper ****ter.
Formally. Admin then sold on cheap. Shareholders get screwed rest survive.
I agree- the more i think about it I am fortunate i can afford the small loss and risk I took- but 16000 jobs are more important in the bigger picture and for the individuals... i really hope it works out for them
I would say that you are magoo. Once it gets to this stage, it’s generally curtains. I’m theory we may recoup after creditors are paid off but in practice the EG group will but what they want at a discount and have probably agreed to pay some of the debt but nothing will be left for us as we’re last in line

McColl’s goes into administration after banks reject rescue plans

Am I clutching at straws - they have called in the administrators 'Not as yet gone in to administration'
Hold for gold lol Either a bot or just damn crazy. I lost 1200 but was a gamble I was willing to take. Was a huge risk as per the RNS but I would have a guess that a more competent bod would have saved it from the ruins as the business model should have been reasonable. Hope all staff are ok as that’s a lot more important than the risks we have taken as they don’t deserve to lose their jobs due to incompetent bod.

McColl's has collapsed but a company operated by the co-owners of Asda is expected to agree a deal with administrators that would rescue the bulk of the stricken convenience retailer.
Rare_Groove - You are either a complete fud or just a plain good old fashioned idiot.

Loving the positivity man :-)
Hold? I'm sorry to make you aware as you obviously don't know but the shares are suspended, company into administration, the issa brothers may offer but this won't save the private investors sorry
Your off your head mate.
Those ASDA boys are going to pull this out of the fire. We've just got to sit tight, be patient and for gods sake hold (I can't stress that enough).
Announcement coming soon, this isn't the final curtain. Unlimited potential.
Good luck all.
I said that earlier must be a first.
I took £2k out of my lth pot and into vast turned it into £7k. Now it’s £0k what a strange week.
I hope you're wrong! I don't like living in this world but the old world is gone. My new favourite TV programme is Nightmare New Builds - anyone watching would never buy a new house! Shared equity? No thanks! What was wrong with Council Houses? And what's wrong with the Basic Necessities being provided at an Affordable Price? Communism? No, common sense!
..wonder who 'leaked' that? Mark Kleinman should be investigated.
Also, has a company ever led the biggest risers chart on LSE AND gone into admin on the same day? Incredible
People need to drop the false hope. It’s very misleading.
ASDA announcement eagerly anticipated any minute now. U-turn on administration, back up and running Monday, should open at 5p, hold, hold, hold.
be interesting to see what happens to the Morrisons daily stores. it seems odd that the Morrisons daily rollout looks unlikely to happen now. I got used to seeing them and thought this was a growing business.
