I am negative about how the Company has been run, however at this price I see an opportunity to make some money on a T/O, or short term if LEK announce some positive spin.
That’s it, little downward risk, good chance of making some money in the next 4-6 weeks.
MEM, at least keep it constructive , you were derogatory about this board a couple of weeks ago, then you invested just after.
‘You are all naive and gullible- I shall checkin in 6 months and see how the CEO’s latest fairy tale is progressing’
Some well researched and informed people on this board , most of us know the history, BOD, RNS etc surely the aim ( excuse the pun) is for us all to win so collectively with constructive debate we can all make the right decisions, any useful information positive or negative helps us achieve that.
Wish us all good fortune.

"@middleEastMoney: if you believe any of the rubbish spouted by the CEO after all the drivel, broken promises of the last 4+ years, more fool you.
Have you read all the RNS about increasing production, NOT ONE HAS COME TO FRUITION"
Then why did you "@middleEastMoney: I have taken a sizeable position already at average 3.34p" ?!! haha
If I was you I'd cash out then come back again after the CEO resigns
"@middleEastMoney: I am not wasting anymore time swopping insults with you."
What the ?! It seems like it's hard for you to have a civilised conversation with others on here.
Anyway goodbye or "ma alsalamah" however you say it in the MiddleEast.
mEM the consortium of large companies have committed to the development so either LEK joins in or sells its share of the project. No middle ground here.
and if you believe any of the rubbish spouted by the CEO after all the drivel, broken promises of the last 4+ years, more fool you.

The CEO has feathered his nest, at the detriment of SH. I am not wasting anymore time swopping insults with you.
"a way to reinforce negative sentiment"
Mate, did you read any of the researches I posted recently on this board.. I have repeatedly said Lek is ridiculously cheap at this level and we'll see some recovery very soon. So many catalysts for Mcap recovery written all over this company.
Re CEO, he founded the company, a significant shareholder and if you listened to his recent interviews then you will know that he got short/mid and long plans in mind for Lekoil .........one thing is for sure - he will not resign !
or maybe you highlighted my wording as a way to reinforce negative sentiment, a double bluff, clever.
If I was the CEO I would either resign with someone already selected to re place me, having already gained the agreement of major SH, or I would be working on a very cunning, detailed plan to actually increase production, sell off one asset etc.
Sadly the CEO is not capable of either, he is far too wrapped up in what is good for him, rather than what is good for the Co and the SH he has let down on many many occasions.
I have taken a sizeable position already at average 3.34p
Give it time, I think we will know within 6 weeks.

Share price is at rock bottom and I agree. brent up from 54 to 58 and lek from 3p to 3.2p. Lek makes about 7m every 10 weeks. Mcap still 18m. Gla
"This will weaken LEK further, a rudderless ship, LEK will fall prey to a T/O."
Wishful thinking? ha
No need to deramp hoping to get a lower entry, the share price is at the rock bottom mate ;)
If I were Seplat, I would wait for the results of the Investigation and then pounce on LEK. The reason, there can be no other outcome (even in Nigeria) other than the CEO is culpable of gross negligence. The CEO's position will become untenable - Corporate Governance. This will weaken LEK further, a rudderless ship, LEK will fall prey to a T/O.
As you know I am not a fan of how LEK have been run for years, the truth is in all the broken promises with the RNS over the last 4 years.
There is some serious money to be made in a T/O and then we can say R.I.P. LEK
