Attorney for DEV Mineração, Raquel Dalseco explained that the project is in the budget part, the last step before the company starts transporting the trains again.
"We have already done all the conceptual part. For four months, a study was carried out of everything that needs to be done for us to return to the railroad. And now in the third stage we are doing the cost part and after that we will go to the part of implementation", detailed.
The company plans to run tests with train circulation on some stretches of the railroad as early as 2022, if all demands are resolved in the schedule set up by the mining company. The forecast is until 2024 to start transporting stored ore .
"It is estimated that we will be working on our total production for 3 years. On the Railroad, the 1st activity we will be doing is to renovate a locomotive with two platform wagons to start transporting farmers and reactivate these activities for the community," she assessed.

The lithium shortage hasn't received the same limelight as the chip shortage. While chip shortage is a short to medium term issue, lithium is the long term bottleneck. Unless a breakthrough in new lithium technology, lithium will be the decisive factor in the EV adoption.
When speaking to senior analysts and geologists they seem to be quite sceptical to new technologies. Most of these companies however appear confident in the success of their "proprietary" technologies. A breakthrough is needed, the question is if and when it will be commercial.
Nice for Vulcan but VW seem to be leaving their options open:
https://www.fool.com.au/2021/12/09/vulcan-energy-asxvul-share-price-shoots-12-higher-on-volkswagen-deal/
In addition, Volkswagen has agreed to a first right of refusal to invest in additional capacity in the Zero Carbon Lithium Project. Conditions precedent include the successful start of commercial operations and full product qualification.
Remember the DLE process and quality isn't fully proven - refer to recent posts by @observer842
Are VW looking elsewhere in Europe!!!
Right time Right place for EMH?
There's plenty of time in 2021.
Excuse typos and spelling, using phone auto correct takes over
Well we all know it's not long now, credit committee was done and dusted 11 October, our lawyer things this will be done withing 60 days which is up Friday I think, then the court once wants to know when the parties are going to finalise which is also up by Friday I think,
So it can't be far now,
When is court 10 days up ?
Patience my friends patience
Will take anything than brings an upturn .? Shame it’s not like football .
We could put Kiran Morazia up for £50 m
need to EV tbf :o)
Plenty of upside surprises possible to catch people off guard other than the Amapa Deal, Sonora JV deal with Ganfeng, EMH offtakes / PFS, deal with HAS, lots of potential.
Inclined to agree EVB..... notwithstanding also that the articles (Express one at least) are a little misleading/inaccurate IMO .... but hey ho ....
I think the rhetoric is more for political points scoring than anything else given none of the Lithium was destined for the U.K. and Ganfeng already owned 50% and 30% of Ganfeng.
The next move is wait for antitrust approval and get their 75% to de-list, I suspect they will want to do a deal for our JV areas and then put their expansion plans in to play.
About the time our JV's got a mention especially if the government is watching over!
Interesting to read this as if you were Ganfeng!
