Yes I did ponder that as well but for me I don't think the time is right for that at the moment .... hopeful that when it comes around again I won't be among those concerned by it.
Resolution 2: will get a No from me.
"try(!)" @Bannor - try. They've had enough practice at it, maybe they'll succeed this time!? lol
"Think I'll trust our BoD to try(!) to do the right thing for us and their 29p options, than try to second or third-guess how this might play out which no doubt the market will be trying to do, given the surprise placing and open offer earlier in the year, which I certainly didn't expect!"
You trust them all you like but I can't think of much of anything they've done that'd gain mine .... very best they'll get from me is 'for' res 4 & 'against' res 5 .... you were saying similar when they had freebies at the equivalent of £2.18 a share back in 2018/19 what happened to those & that target ... the share price has been shot to s&it since & gifted them a new target almost a 10th of that & they still aren't anywhere near it currently.
Indeed @Bannor, my views change with the times... Optionality is key here. Once the PFS is published @Kiran said we can be more public with the decision to take the 22% or instead find a partner to take it. So yeah, flip flop, flip flop. lol. Would I want to take the 22% today if it meant placing 100,000,000 shares at an SP which was destructive to value to share holders, of course not, no-one would. Think I'll trust our BoD to try(!) to do the right thing for us and their 29p options, than try to second or third-guess how this might play out which no doubt the market will be trying to do, given the surprise placing and open offer earlier in the year, which I certainly didn't expect!
Reminds me of a joke I heard.
Comes to the point in the service where the rabbi's supposed to extol the virtues of the deceased. The rabbi says, "I did not know this man, I am new here. You all knew him, you say something good about him."
There's a dead silence. Goes on for a minute, then two minutes. Finally, a voice from the back, "His brother was worse."
flip flop - flip flop .... wasn't that long ago the pair of you were extolling the virtues of bringing a 3rd party in for the additional 22% ... 'IF' ... Indo choose to release it .... the size of the authority to issue shares isn't new & necessarily for Amapa ... this mob have have requested & been granted huge & significant authorities for years .... but you two just keep playing tag on who can big something..... anything up the most with your assumptions, hopes & guesswork between you eh!
Indeed @EV. Clearly no explanation given, as none needed. Exciting times! Imagine owning 49% of a company that was once valued at $3.2B with expansion possibilities on the table. Pretty sure the market will wake up once that starts to sink in hopefully following the publication of the updated MRE and PFS. :-)

Ooh what do you think the SP will do if we take the additional 22% that 'MIGHT' be made available to us... the same or worse than you thought for the 27%? LoL .... anyway I'd need to see the revised MRE & PFS first before I worry about that .... maybe that'll come prior to the AGM maybe it won't ... if it does I might vote for 4 & against 5 ...
Clearly it would be intended to fund the 49% ownership of Amapa though, Plan A or Plan B? Not sure voting against that is a smart move though.
It will be worth attending just to see Peter pluck up the courage and ask questions. No. He will just moan on here. What a guy
...it was the broker who was at fault
....always instructed my previous broker what to vote for & against, not sure they were ever any good at doing it!! Hopefully my new broker will make it easier/do as I ask ....
Will you be attending Peter? You have plenty to say on here. Why not attend and ask questions? Go on. I dare ya.
Res 4 authority to place 100,000,000 shares
Res 5 disapplication of preemption rights
I know which one(s) I'll be instructing my broker to vote against on my behalf
l will be there and l will be taking the black pearl & the crew i have had enough of this pyramid building for the bods
The AGM will be held at 11 am 10 August 2022 at the offices of Hill Dickinson LLP, The Broadgate Tower, 8th Floor, 20 Primrose Street, London, EC2A 2EW.
Doesn't say don't attend....
.... well not available yet anyways ...
